Raiders were predominatly a running team in 2007 508 rushing attempts with only 451 passing attempts and 260 completions versus 422 rushing attempts 529 pass attempts with 347 completions for the Jets. Jets were a passing team that was sucesful running the ball out of the spread offense. Jets had 78 more pasing attempts than Raiders. 529 - 451= 78 Jets completed 347 in comparison to 260 . 347- 260 = 87 more receptions. 87 more recptions and D keller was 11 pewrcent of Jetrs offense. 87 times .11 = 9 .57 more recptions D keller should have had. 10 more receptions. He didn't Now add 10 times more recptions * zach miller average 10 yards per reception= 100 more yards. That means Zach Miller numbers would be better. Jets are a short passing attack and reason they are always going to have more receptions. Raiders alot of times on those attempts were just throwing away. You look at the numbers and it obvious why D Keller numbers were slightly better than millers rookie year. u8nfortunatly thats not how football players arev judged. It what they did this year .
