Lower- $640/season Mez- $920/season- Sec 220 Row 4 Upper- $600/season- Sec 326 Row 6 NO PRESEASON REQUIREMENT and WITH PARKING PASS, PLUS SAME SEATS GTEE FOR PLAYOFFS Partial Plan 5 Games, only Uppers available @ $400 and you must purchase one pre-season game.
We should all call and say we were considering buying PSLs but won't bother since we know if we hold out we can get them for a steal.
Oh and if they try that line of preseason games are sold out they're full of shit. I just put in 10 tickets on ticketmaster.com and I had 10 seats show up sec 121 row 31.
Okay. I called them back. I'm going to tell you all the way it is and it ain't pretty. Here is the straight scoop: 1) I WAS lied to by that first girl on the phone today. I spoke to "Rich," whose direct phone # is (973) 549-4818, in case you don't believe this post. I called as if I were interested in buying 2009 tickets and wanted to be near my "bro-in-law who is in Section 227." 2) First Rich gave me the third degree: am I a current ticketholder and do I have an account? "No," I lied. "Okay," he said and then proceeded to offer me 4 tickets in the Mezz End Zone, Section 221, Row 5, Seats 5,6,7 and 8. "The price would be $3684 for 8 games and if you want the Parking, it's another $120, so your total would be 3844." I do not have to pay for the Preseason Games but I do have the option of buying the last Philly game (yeah, uh-huh, like THAT's gong to fucking happen). 3) So now I questioned him over and over again, "I DO NOT HAVE TO BUY THE PRESEASON GAME THOUGH, RIGHT?" No, I don't. Just the 8 games. Then I said, "Well, is this because it's the End Zone? What if I want to be closer to my "brother-in-law" on the Sidelines, what about any seats there and THEN do I have to buy the Preseason? Again, no I don't. He offered me 3 seats in Section 225 and 3 seats in MY section, 227, Row 9 (right behind me, for Christ's sake!) And again, NO REQUIREMENT for Preseason Purchase. 4) So now I drop the bomb. "Well," I said to Rich, "my 'bro-in-law' is gonna be pissed, let me tell you. I can just hear him now. He's going to go through the fucking roof when he hears that he had to pay for the Preseason Games and I'm going to be sitting right behind him and not paying for them. What would you tell THAT kind of season ticketholder?" So the fucking jerk says, "Well, sir, that's because he was invoiced back in February and had to pay for his tickets by May 1st or he'd lose them. But the season is already right upon us now, so this is why you can get this offer and not have to buy the Preseason Games." But what about my "bro-in-law" getting a refund for his Preseasons, I asked. Well, no, because again, he had to buy them at the time. "Oh, okay." I said. Seething, and with every ounce of restraint necessary to prevent myself from verbally ripping the guy's windpipe out, I thanked Rich and told him I will call him back very soon. "What's your phone number?" he wants to know, "in case I want to call you back?" I told him I'd rather call him, so don't call me. "Oh, okay." So there you have it. Anybody who wants to sit 4 Rows behind me, under cover, can do it right now and NOT have to buy the Preseason horseshit. Now, the price on the tickets is $3684 for 4 of them. Do the math and you wind up with $115.13 per game per ticket. My seats LAST YEAR were $115 and I believe I paid $120 this year (2009), but I had to buy all 10 games of course. I don't know what else to say to finish up this post... it speaks for itself. I'm very disappointed in the lack of professionalism. My first call today had someone confirm, 100%, and without a doubt, that everyone was still required to pay for Preseason Games. Now, 1 hour later, this is not so.
this is only the beginning of the screwings. i predicted long ago 2 game packages will become available. watch and see. simply amazing how this organization keeps screwing its loyal fans. especially those who support them financially.
Prospective PSL purchasers: READ THIS POST! The above impacts prospective PSL purchasers the most, IMO. Woody once again demonstrates he's a snake. I warned people throughout this thread about what he does to "Premium Ticket Holders." That's you, the holder of a PSL, in case you didn't know: 1) He increased Mezz seats 10% per year for 8 years in a row and doubled the price of the seats. There is no stopping him from doing that to a PSL holder. Nothing. Buyer beware. 2) Now he's selling 2009 seats without requiring the purchase of Preseason Games after requiring the purchase from everyone else in every section of the stadium this past spring, and no refund for same forthcoming. In fact, people on the phones are lying to the general public. If they're not lying, they're "conveniently misinformed." Either way, having discovered this, Woody should step up and refund anyone who perviously paid. It's unethical and dispicable to charge one customer and not another for the same product. Bottom line is, BUYER BEWARE on the PSLs folks. I've been screaming it from the rooftops for months now. Now you can see the kind of snake we've got at the helm. Once you purchase those PSLs you are going to be screwed royally. One can only imagine how much those tickets will increase. Once you're tethered to the PSL with no way out, he'll have you and the fun will start. PSL BUYERS BEWARE!
thought I would post this in here. Just found out today I will be working at the stadium. The 'commissioner's lounge' is getting 2 huge gas fireplaces. These fuckers are big, 9 foot long by 5 foot tall. The job is a few months out but I'll take lots of pics. I imagine the commish's lounge is one of if not the best seat in the house.
70 grand job. I was thinking I could camp out in a wall for close to a year and tunnel out on opening day.

I will enjoy the games this year as it will most surely be my last! I am beyond shocked that no one has gone after them about this in the press--it has amazed me from day 1----if you guys want to make a stink call Evan and Benigno they will most like give it some air play--u can try Francessa but he probably wants to talk baseball----but I think guys should contact the papers already, enough is enough---227 you should forward that last post to every news paper you can--thanks again guys very disheartened ) :

Seconded. This is bullshit. I fukkin hate paying for pre-seasons. This drives me crazy. All I hope is that the stadium is at least 75% full. I can't stand going to games without screaming fans. All I can say is everybody in 328 best show up!!!!!!!!!

I just sent this to the Jets I would appreciate a rebate!!! Last week I called your office because I was told you were giving discounts to new season ticket buyers---I was told that I had been misinformed and that it was not the case--that you guys were offering partial plans but NO DISCOUNTS! Well say what you like now it is less than a week later and you and I know that you are indeed offering discounts ! Should I be expecting a refund on the 6 tickets that I purchased 2 preseason games for? How about a discount for my parking? I am very disheartened by what is going on I surely hope that the Jets make good on refunding everyone , especially the loyal fans that have been here thru thick and thin and not just the new season ticket holders!
