Haven't seen this posted. I'm sure they're fine but it's hard not to be a little nervous about Revis, Jenkins and Mangold, three key guys. http://wcbstv.com/wireapsportsny/Darrelle.Revis.Kris.2.1123599.html
Not a big deal - if this were a real game they'd probably all be playing except MAYBE woody with the head injury.
damien woody suffered a concussion today in 11 on 7's and was helped off the field. havent seen it reported but it was tweeted i think. oh god what did i just say???????????
I am more worried than most I guess. I don't like to see such talent on the sideline for the first set of downs....preseason or not. We are talking about 3 pro-bowlers that got dinged. That kind of worries me. And woody is a solid starter. I wanted to see a few plays with my 2 QB with the real line. I PRAY THEY GET HEALTHY SOON.
clemens is the only one that will see time with 3/5 of the starting OL. Sanchez is going with the 2nd team anyway. they'd be listed as probable for a real game, maybe jenkins as questionable. But they'd still play.
Could be something they're doing on purpose. Sure, they might be a little banged up. I doubt it's not anything they can't play with though. Not only does it give the CS a chance to see how the rest of our roster performs, but it gives our opponents less tape to watch.
Early nominee for understatement of the year. Arguably the three most valuable players on the team. Yes, yes, I know everyone thinks Leon is God. I said arguably.
Rex said today that they will both get time with the starting unit. I'd have to guess they both get a series and then it will be the Ainge show...
Sounds about right. Just found where I read it, from Cimini's latest blog Clemens will start the pre-season opener Friday against the Rams. Ryan said today that Sanchez will see some action with the first team, although he couldn't say how much Sanchez will play. With Mangold and Woody out, Ryan doesn't want to expose either of his quarterbacks too long in a relatively meaningless game. I'd guess they will get one or two series each, but that will make for a long opening night for the rest of the first-stringers. He said Erik Ainge will get the bulk of the reps
