Oh, there are some nice places in Upstate NY. We stayed in Waterloo last year, the town I think was even smaller than Cortland but so much nicer. Cortland is just... ugh.
I graduated from Cortland and I would call Cortland a Nascar town. Apparently it has a very high incest rate as well. On a side note, make sure you stop by DP Dough on Main St for some food. It's top notch.
Correlation or causation: you be the judge. DP Dough, huh? There's one in Albany that took the place of a good little pizzeria. I went in there to ask for a slice and The Bro behind the counter said, "No 'za, brah, just 'zones." What a 'mo.
If I'm not mistaken, I believe there is an ice skating rink nearby...something to do with the kids if you feel so inclined.
Family vacation? Did the wife and kids know the Jets were training up there or was it more like "Wow honey, look over there. The Jets are training here this summer. Who knew?"
On the Home page, there's a blog about today's camp "Jets Open Camp in Cortland". Click on "Read Full Story". On the next page, right below the pic of Sanchez and Clemens throwing the football, there's a link to the pics. You'll get a photo-reader pop up. At least that's the way I was able to view them. Anybody got a faster way, feel free to share.
Thanks man, finally found them. God, these are great pics. Glad to see Westhoff out there again. WTF is up with Ryan in picture #5? He looks like somebody knocked him up since the last time I saw him. Seriously, I thought Mangini had a propensity to gain weight but this guy makes Mangini look like he was on Weight Watchers. Terrific pics though. Now I really wish I was there, damn it. F'ng Cortland, NY.
Aren't they? I'll bet it's humid as hell up there today even though it's 3 hours north of here. They look like they're really working out in it. No Herm Edwards up there buddy, no siree.
You liked Waterloo? :drunk: That's my neck of the woods. Two towns over. Wife is from Waterloo. Upstate Ny is nice, if you're looking for the opposite of NYC. If you're hoping to find similarities in any aspect, you'll be disappointed.
