    Prince wins.

He and Cruz were the only two to swing at consecutive pitches all night.

I went to bed listening to it on the radio, but I'm back up now.

I get so sick of hearing how great the fans in St Louis are,... I was there a few years ago for the NCAA Tournament and they are no different than Met, Yankee, Phillie fans... Aftre nearly getting into a few fights with Cardinal fans at the bar and getting called Pond Scum all night (which is their slam toward Met fans) I realized Joe Buck and ESPN are full of shit. They may know the game but so do Oriole, Dodger and Ranger fans....

I got home in time to watch Mauer in the first round, so I watched Pujols too. After both were eliminated I figured go Fielder. I fell asleep somewhere during the early second round, and woke up just as Fielder was swinging on his winner.

Last year was at least enjoyable with Hamilton's early antics, though the ending was a letdown. Pujols absolutely creaming the ball was interesting for the briefest moment, but really, the home run derby is such a waste of time. Plus we had to listen to Joe Morgan, which is punishment enough in itself.

Did anyone even watch the softball game afterward?

I don't dislike Berman. Actually, I like him. You know why? He doesn't take himself seriously. He may be goofy, but it's his style. Joe Morgan is a complete assclown who thinks every single player he talks about is the best he's ever seen. Pujols is the greatest hitter he's ever seen (this week.) Crawford has the best jump off a pitcher of any player he's ever seen (this week.)

Nothing Miller, Morgan, Buck, Kay, Waldman, and usually McCarver and Sterling say is worth listening to. Every baseball announcer I'm forced to listen to sucks.

I actually like everyone on YES except for Kay. Singleton, Flash and Cone all do a good job. Kay goes on these long sycophantic rants about certain Yankees even if they're hitting .210 or can't hit for shit. He plays to his favorites like noone else and a lot of his favorites don't do jacksquat on the diamond. Very annoying listening to him.
