I was at the game and was very happy for Chad--he gave all he had for us and got a raw deal. I also was very happy to watch Bart Scott and the Ravens was the fish the following week, I hope the dolphins and their fans enjoyed the shortlived success

    You are right, I made a mistake saying 16 of 22. It's 17 of 22.

    AFC East championships since 1970:

    Dolphins-14
    Patriots-10
    Bills-7
    Colts-6
    Jets-2

 Two division titles for the Jets in damn near 40 years and you guys are trying to tell me about how to handle winning a division championship. That is fuckin' pathetic and laughable.

Looks like we do own the division when it comes to division titles. Not so funny now huh?

The dolphins dominated the div in the 70s and 80s, it's been a LONG time since you did. Since 1998 we have the same amount of div titles- 2 except we won our 2nd in a season that Tom Brady started 16 games.

oh and you want to laugh?

    17-5
    30-7 in the 4th qtr
    Jason taylor
    38-3
    62-7
    ...:rofl::rofl:

c'mon junc, you know damn well those 70's and 80's division titles are completely relevant when discussing the AFC East in 2009.

It's always comical how dolphin fans think their team is like the Yankees of the NFL. For all the "greatness" of the Miami Dolphins they have just ONE more SB title than the Jets:rofl:

Here's something funny too.....Pennington is your starting Quarterback. Be sure to join in the laughter...after he's carried off the field in week 3.

Well I don't see how my opinion suddenly matters. My whole argument is that Chad Pennington wasn't the problem with the Jets, the Jets results last year are proof positive of that. As for the question above, my opinion is the same. I don't speak for anyone else and no one speaks for me. If a Dolphin fan is using the same argument or POV Jet fans have been using, maybe it's because some Dolphin fans are giving back what they were getting.

My quesition to you is, how is it you see a problem when you see a Dolphin fan doing it, but you could care less when you see a Jet fan doing it? Don't ask me if I see a difference if you don't.

Chad P was the problem. Same old shit would have happen to us last year if we kept him.
We tried something else and it didn't work, now we move on. Favre will be with the Vikings to do whatever he is capable of doing.

So I would take from your logic in this post that your only Super Bowl win never existed right?

Don't try and twist what I said to suit your weak argument. The Jets superbowl win in '69 has nothing to do with the AFC East in 2009 and I never implied that it did.

    0-3 here you come.

You moved on to a rookie QB and a scrub. Do you really think you are going forward. As long as that bum Tannenbaum is you're GM the Jets are going to have the same result. He is your problem not chad Pennington. I feel bad for CP. While he was a Jet he had an idiot coach in Herm Edwards who had the guy play hurt and damn near ruined his career. Now that it has been resurrected you Jets fans can't stand it. It eats you alive.

You call "hiding behind the wildcat", Pennington resurrecting his career?.....

you're in for some real "sadness" this season. Not that we'll know...because you won't show your face here when it happens.

Weak argument. Herm Edwards was a head coach for 8 years in this league. Sparano has coached one season.
