    That is going to be a long 4 games. Lacking a pass rush is going to kill us against New England and New Orleans.

    I'm hoping Gholston & Westerman(if he makes the team) turn into animals in Pace's absence.

    Otherwise our pass rush will be seriously comprimised for those 4 games.

    With the schedule we've been dealt this season.....we can't afford to NOT be at full strength at any point in the season. Injuries are one thing...but drug suspensions are totally unacceptable :mad:

    Hope in one hand and shit in the other and one of your hands has our pass rush without Calvin Pace in it. It's not the one full of hope.

    Well, the upside to this is Gholston is gonna have to step up now. No more hiding behind the bench. If he can't even record 1 sack in the first quarter of the season, he's going to get a lot of shit from the fans.

    Even with Gholston on the roster, I'm still pretty sure we'll see another pass rusher signed...

    Antwan Peek is still available. He'd come cheap...

    This sucks, he's a big part of our defense and missing him for a month is going to hurt us. I don't have confidence in Gholston but he's going to have step up.

    Some of you guys are really over reacting over this. Pace is an OK player that happens to start for us, whoever fills his roll for 4 games won't be that much worse. NEWSFLASH- Its not the end of the world.

    He's better than ok, he's a valubale guy for us. this won't be the difference in the season as I don't expect us to compete for the postseason anyway BUT it is a big loss.
