Who the hell is talking about the Jets? You've lost your mind. The Colts had a lack of D. Forced to throw like apeshit. You don't understand this game very well do you?
Personally I'd take Marino, but if I had to Choose between Manning and Brady, it's not even close. I take Manning here! and Brady, . . . . . . . . . . . . . Here!
read the article at this link about the myth of the Belichcik D's: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/football/nfl/07/25/chff.belichick/index.html?eref=T1 Manning never had great D's(though the '06 D carried Indy to the title) but he had D's good enough to get to multipe SBs. The fact that Manning and his high powered O's scored under 14 PPG in their playoff losses had more to do w/ them losing than their D.
I understand this game just fine, I'm obviously proving a point you obviously refuse to get. What a shocker!!
ya marino was clutch in those big games. throw him on any team and he leads them to many super bowls like he did with the fins. but throw brady on any team, he will be exposed as a system QB. thats what i've got from you so far.
As a Jets Fan....I have a huge HATE for Tom Brady. But when i put my "Football fan" hat on....I see Brady for what he is....an excellent QB that wins. To see you have him placed so far down on your so-called list.....once again....proves your lack of intellgence.
2 of the 3 best QBs I have seen in my lieftime were on hated div rivals. I hated Marino and hate Brady but I respect how great Marino was and how great Brady is.
Pretty much. But that's his opinion and we differ in opinion. He wants a good QB with great stats to show for it at the end of the regular season. I like a good QB with average stats and a Super Bowl ring at the end of the Playoffs. This probably explains why he's simply content with the Dolphins making the Playoffs. Anything after that, is...what did u say FTP? Icing on the cake? Yeah...
Perhaps you could also share the number of winning seasons DJ has as an NFL HC. Fair enough, but wouldn't you expect a QB that hadn't started a game since HS to need time to adjust to the NFL level? I think that's resonable. Not to mention the continuity, trust and respect that needs to develop between the QB and the rest of the team.
All it proves is we disagree, says the adult to the child. Maybe some day you'll grow up and understand the meaning of the word OPINION!
Tell me, over their repsective careers, which QB has had the most talent around them on both sides of the ball, Marino or Brady?
