Good point. :-/ I'm alright with them not making the playoff's, but I want an opponent injury list that contains Chowder, TO and Brady at least.
That's your first mistake right there. If the Fins went 1-15....and we went 12-4...they'd still pick us to finish no better than third. THere's a better Return specialist in the division than Leon? A better Pass catching TE than Keller? A better OL in the entire NFL? Jones...hmmmm..did he not lead the AFC in rushing last year...is his ine different(or was Brett Favre the reason for the rushing attack?)
Mangini out, Rex Ryan in. That right there should be worth a game or two. If the Jets don't at least match last year's record I will not be pleased.
keller with one season under his belt can in no way be compared with the elite of the league or division! we have an excellent oline, but elite? not yet. giants, eagles, pats, vikings to name a few, probably a couple others are better or even, such as cowboys, san diego, bronco's, saints. jets oline is good, but second tier good would be more realistic.
Ok..So...In the Divsion..Who is a better pass catching TE? Second Tier OL..AYFKM? remind me again...who was the AFC's leading rusher last year ? And in the AFC only NE was more balanced in terms of Passing Offense Rushing Offense rankings. And we started two new players last year, and return 5 starters this year.
Pro Football Weekley is a joke that should be used for nothing more than toilet paper in Iraq! So don't get your panites in a ruffle about what this piece of shit rag thinks.
Antonio Gates and Dallas Clark, without a doubt; I'm tempted to stick Owen Daniels in the first tier, but he needs to score more. Keller is bumped a lot with the departure of Gonzalez and Winslow. It's about production, not potential, lest we devolve to Raiderjocity.
None of those TEs are in the Jets division, though. Keller is certainly the best pass-catching TE in the AFC East.
Oh, thank you Toon, my mistake. Fasano pulled down seven scores last year and Martin is no slouch. New England will get some solid production out of Baker and Smith, but yeah, Keller is easily the best of that bunch. Whether he can compare to Derek Fine is another story, but who can, really?
Trying not to be a homer, but Parrish and McKelvin are better return men than Leon. Not a slam, because Leon is solid, just my opinion.
The position ratings and the final record don't really make sense if you think about it. PFW has the Jets as a composite B+/B in the trenches and B+/B on defense. The QB is C+. I kind of agree with all of that and it suggests 7 to 9 wins not 7. I'd be curious as to what ratings they have for the Bills and how this relates to the ratings for the Jets given the fact that they have the same overall projected record.
 If we started off that bad, half of Jets Nation would be hoping for more losses to get a better draft choice. And would be pissed if we ended up 7-9.
So football comes down to one game in November each year. AYFKM? Roos-Amano-Mawae-Scott-Stewart is a tremendous line. Also, why are you responding to anything I write?
Nooo, really? what a shocker, you don't think the Dolphins are very good!! Oh but I'm sure you had no problem believing the Dolphins would finish last in the division last year too right? Howd that prediction work out for ya? You sure aren't very transparent.
Is there any player in Buffalo that isn't better than the rest of the players in the division in your opinion?
