pretty cool article on espn, talks about the top 10 building blocks from each division if you had to start a team. tim graham chose revis #2 overall, as well as mangold and pace. goes on to explain that jenkins and washington were considered.

My issue with the article is that they have a few guys over 30, when I think of a building block I think of someone who is under 30 (maybe under 27) someone who is young you dont really build a team around really established guys, you build around the potential of young guys

I can agree with that assessment. I was surprised how balanced tim grahm was. I would love them to go position by position with this, but given the fact that its the off season I'm pretty satisfied that they are doing things like this to hype the upcoming season.

to be fair, he only said over the next 3 seasons, not the long haul.

Awesome that Revis and Mangold are getting the respect they deserve. On the other hand though, Pace shouldn't be anywhere near that list. He's almost 30 and his performance last season was hardly above average. Off the Jets' roster, I'd pick Rhodes or Keller or even Gimp Harris over the guy.

If i wasn't biased towards the Jets I'd put Long at 2 and Revis at 3 but I'm happy with how it is.

Just because LT is more important then a CB.
