Since the JETS were once rumored to have interest in signing him and since, if my hungover memory is still functioning properly, the JETS will be playing the Dolphins, I thought this might belong in the JETS forum.

If any mods disagree with me, I apologize and ask that you move it. But I think this is fairly relevant to the Jets.

Any future that doesn't include a jail term and an NFL suspension would probably make Burress happy.

Of course he would be happy to play for Miami – there are no gun laws in Florida.

Imagine if Chad could throw the ball high enough to reach his hands?

If Burress were to join Miami we'd be one step closer to ending every year under Rex in the basement of the AFC East.

Burress, TO, Moss, Cotchery. Which team has the weakest "#1" WR?

Why do you say that? We don't even know if Burress will ever be the same again after shooting himself in the leg. And T.O. isn't the same as he once was and he drops too many passes.

Jets need an upgrade at wideout. The current ones scare no one.

But that's my point. We don't know if Burress would even be an upgrade at this point. The moron shot himself in the leg for cryin out loud  I would think that's very important for him. Maybe not considering he's never been a speedster though.

I don't disagree, but I think the odds are very good he would be an upgrade.

That was my thought, too. The Arena League would be better than jail, I'd think.

Burress would be happy to play where there are luscious beaches, beautiful women, and 80 plus degree weather year 'round.... weird...

I was just in my car and heard the same rumor on 1050AM radio at the noon hour boradcast. The two guys on the air were speculating on Plax winding up in Miami.

Now that would not be cool. TO up in Buffalo and Paxico down in Maiami ius something we don't need in our division. I know Plax is a PITA, but I'd love to see Tannenbaum make a run at him if he's not going to be locked up.

Tampa might be a better option for him.

I heard on the FAN this AM that Plax is coming around to the realization that the DA is not fooling around & that he now thinks he will be doing jail time. It was on the Beningo show
