The experience will be this. This is what we have, pick it or lose it. I just want to know what sections/row are available.

first off, thanks for all you guys who think its ok for me to enjoy myself. second. alleycat, i make donations and participate in many a charity. and to be honest with you, we sat down (the people i go with) and did the math. we sit in the frc seats right now, and they make you pay for a buhnch of shit you never use (gay field passes that cut into tailgating, stadium club passes that were used only at the denver game last season and havent been used in five years before that, and preffered parking) the new seats (same location in the new stadium) with spreading out the psl, are LESS expensive than they are now, including parking. so, actually, since i didnt plan on not attending, im saving money.

Look I regret if U do not like my factual information but other STHs from 85 onwards may have appreciated my information & they can now begin to make alternative plans which is the reason I posted it since in ALL the posts previous NOBODY had mentioned the major transformation in the NYJ STH structure for the 84 season which is bound to have an affect on all years after 84.

U make it appear that my posts are directed ONLY at U but they were not they were made as information for all STHs after 84 which is what U R supposed to do with info for members of TGG

Okay. Thank you for the '84 information. And yes, now '85 and later can use that to formulate alternative plans. We all understand your point by now. You've made it very clear.

I just wish I could visit this thread and not have to read about the '84 issue a dozen times a day. I'm still hoping to get into the Upper Deck somehow and I don't need the constant negativety, but I thank you for bringing it up and informing us.

It could be correct, but who knows. Lets just hope a few more years get in, the one thing we can all agree upon, if we do, its gonna be high and far from the field. There is know reason for Champ to repeat himself day after day, to me, he seems to be rubbing it in

1977 Seat Selection on May 18

I am also a 44 year Jets season ticket holder. In Shea Stadium I sat in the endzone temporary seats 1st row, aisle. When we moved to the Meadowlands the Jets assigned seats in "like" locations and I was still in the lower end zone but now in row 5 , no aisle. With my seniority I expected to get back into the 1st row aisle in the lower end zone -- especially since the last I heard the Giants still had these seats available as well as all $400 and up seats.

I didn't get what I wanted as all lower endzone 1st row seats were gone by the time I was called on Monday, May 18. I was one of the last 1977 to go as they started the process at the 50s and moved around to the endzones. I really find it hard to believe that so many people selected these seats ahead of me since prevailing wisdom is to sit at the 50s and high up. Although some people's minds may have changed when the Jets offered 600 Premium Front Row Seats beginning in 2000.

I picked the equivalent of front row seats above one of the openings in the endzone. I would strongly suggest that everyone visit the website and take the cam view to see how they are actually building the stadium. Without that, I wouldn't have known about those seats.

My best guess is that people are selecting seats in reverse order of price (not exactly what happened with the Giants), that is, first the Upper Deck, then the end zone mezzanine and then the Field level endzone.

    1978 on the clock!

Got my phone call this morning from Guy. I have 1978 priority. Here is what was available in UD or EZ Mezz for 4 seats:

    313, 314 Prime - row 23
    312, 315 row 20
    311, 316 row 18
    310, 317 row 12
    309, 318 row 10

similar on visiting side, but a row or 2 better. I prefer the Home Side.

    EZ Mezz - corners
    220a row 12
    207a row 13 (sunny side)
    232a row 10
    245a row 11

I decided on 315 row 21 seats 3-6. I could have had row 20 seats 14-17, but decided to go 1 row higher and be closer to the middle of the field. I was thinking of the PSL in 220a, but I much prefer being near midfield, even if it's much higher up and I didn't feel like forking over $16,000 for a view I wasn't thrilled with. I'm currently in sec 310 row 21. The sight line should be similar, but much higher up. Guy told me there were 500 accounts they were going through today. I guess I'm lucky to be inside the 30's but I'm very disappointed that I couldn't do better row wise. It appears that a majority of STH so far have elected to go UD. I guess that's not a surprise.

Today's post was in direct reply to 227 post referencing me. IMHO all 227 posts are directly only at 227 not to the STHs who had/have seniority in front of him & certainly not to the STHs who have the same or less seniority then him.

BTW those 2 xtra seats U got in 84 are they part of ur 81 account or another account with 84 seniority? The 4 that I got off the wait list were not part of my 77 account & have seniority from 84

1978 here, just picked my 4 seats.

Went with 303 Row 8. Similar sightline to my current seats in 222 (except for the massive elevation increase of course), 25% less per ticket.

We were hoping, like most of us with early tenure dates, for upper primes, pretty much anywhere down the line, but the first 4 rows across the front were all sold, and at midfield 313/314 the lowest available row was 23 (out of 26).

    312/315 lowest row was 21
    311/316 lowest row was 17
310/317 (goalline basically) lowest row was 10

We had gone into it hoping to at least be in the lower half of the uppers, meaning row 13 or lower. Since we had to slide all the way to the goalline to do that, we opted for end zone, 303 instead. Its just as close to the absolute corner as 310, just a different orientation, but in a lower row and for 10 bucks less per ticket. Also, apparently the 3 rows in front of us are not actually rows but a platform for disabled seating, which based on the 3d seating chart makes it feel like a pseudo-1st row, which we thought was appealing. Who knows though? We thought we did the best we could considering availability.
