no way in hell you are a jets fan. its a joke that we traded up for sanchez. the offense will be a joke under schotty this year, even though all reports are that he was handcuffed by mangini. and kellen clemens is going to give us a "good" qb problem to have. and we have a true leader on the defense, who you seem to think has never played a down of football before. the guy has nfl game tape. you should go watch it and see that he is a very good player.
i happen to agree, i am actually getting a little tired of hearing mr scott speak. he is always and constantly talking. i would prefer to see him produce on the field rather than talk talk talk all day in may. on a side note that was a poor title of the blog it was taken from. blah blah blah harpua, nobody cares about hippies anyway.
Who rubbed your mainge up the wrong way ? How is Mr Scott meant to let his production on the field do the talking...in May ? What else would you have him do? I like my LBs to be dribbling non stop gibba-jabba , trash talking terminators.
If he doesn't produce in september (and obviously through the season) I think it is totally suitable to call his bluff... but dude, it's may, and if he's using trash-talk to rile up our players and make them practice harder, more power to 'em. I'm not saying that trash-talk equates to on-field production, but I don't think it takes away from it either. If he builds it all up and ends up sucking (which I feel is doubtful) then I'll be just as frustrated in the next guy... but in May, as they are trying to build chemistry and create the right vibe during practice, I want guys who are as into it as Scott is...
The audio clips here really aren't trash talk though. I mean maybe a little but he's basically giving out some interesting details to how the defense will work. I'm not sure where all the trash talk comments are coming from?
its likely that they didn't listen to the audio. probably saw another article that involved quotes from scott and decided it was time to start hating on him again.
