Pacman is such a piece of shit. He belongs in jail not in the NFL. Some guy is paralyzed because of him and his entourage, starting fights at a strip club. This guy is a walking nightmare and will only be a cancer in the locker room.
I would be most disappointed if we signed this thing. He doesn't deserve to play another game. He is scum, plain and simple. I do not want scum on my team.
if you righteous fans knew half of what the nfl players were involved in you wouldnt watch another game in your lives.
The Jets signing him would represent a stop at the Last Chance Motel for Pac Man and if Ryan believes he can instill this message with good effect then I am all for it. We have pretty decent depth at DB right now and a player with Pac Man's talent could rise to the top if Ryan is able to help him mature and embrace a serious sense of responsibility and accountability to himself and his teammates. If he lapses into his lame off the field behavior, just cut him. So what? But the upside is compelling. If Ryan is willing to take a chance on him, so should we.
Yea, you're right. Most players in the NFL are paralyzing guys, beating up strippers, and generally being stains on society. MY bad.
The benefits of Pacman are we get a pretty good punt returner. Ryan recently said he wanted to reduce Leon's role on punt return to use him more on offense. Leonhard is more than capable to handle that role. Besides the Punt return, Jones wasn't very impressive at all in his stint with Dallas. The baggage outweighs his value. Pass.
because the debate is about pacman jones, the risk and reward of acquiring him, and people voicing opinions. she made a joke about pac man and you took it in serious context, and then saying because shes not a professional athlete what she says means nothing. therefore, your right. unless your not a professional athlete? thats what i call a reach. it wasnt a opinion at all. theres two schools of thought, we can catch lightning in a bottle and somehow a person disconnected from the reality of what it takes to succeed in this league, wakes up after strike 20. or the other one would be, at this point its not worth discussing, cause hes been a massive failure off the field. and last year couldnt even provide the talent required to legitimize the take a risk stance on the subject. hell any of us could be wrong on this subject, but I also dont see how you also in the end twisted it as to somehow I dont wanna see the team win. and as if pacman jones is guaranteed to bring us more wins and its so obvious im an idiot for not instantly jumping on the idea of bringing him in. like i said the move would basically be a coinflip. either way hes not even here yet so we'll see what happens. i could be wrong and if your right ill be happy if somehow all the stars aligned and he became a legit presence again. who knows.
No offense to AOL Sports Fanhouse, but it's a pretty flimsy source for me to get too worked up about.
