Dear Elithegiant, The Giants R Good. Do U Like Hakeem Nicks? Write 1 For Yes Or 2 For No. I Promise I Won't Tell Unless U Want Me 2, But I Heard Him Say He Thinks U R A Cutie Pie. Ur Friend, Ignatius
Talking in all-caps doesn't make your post look smarter btw. The Giants do have a legitimate shot at a deep playoff run/SB this year... but to make superbowl predictions in May is naive to say the least.
For some people it is a "challange" to spell NFL teams' names correctly. correct spellings- Oakland Philadelphia Minnesota EliTheGiant didn't even attempt to spell San Diego 'cause that's like all Spanish and shit. He just went with Chargers.
Little known fact, but "Okland" is actually a legitimate and recognized substitute for "Oakland". It stems from the days of the original American settlers in the region. The land was seen as not great, but not terrible either. It was simply ok. The name didn't change until Oakland began to devolve into the shithole it is today. Rumor has it, the current name has something to do with the Oak Monster, which is also associated with a modern steaming pile of shit.
"What a waste it is to lose one's mind or not to have a mind is being very wasteful. How true that is." -- Dan Quayle
Don't discount the additions to the Giants' defensive line. And I want to see how Philly's secondary takes the loss of Sheppard, Consedine, & Dawkins.
The loss of Dawkins is bad from a leadership standpoint but he's getting up there in age...you've probably seen him play more than I have has his play started to decline? The Eagles made some nice moves signing Sean Jones (14 picks the last 3 year) and trading 2 of their 45 fifth rounders for Ellis Hobbes to make up for the loss of Sheppard, who clearly didn't wanna be there anymore having been relegated to the bench
" Last edited by EliTheGiant : Today at 09:54 AM. " Yet you didn't fix the spelling of Philadelphia, Oakland or Minnesota
Dawkins was the emotional leader of that team. His play against the pass was clearly on the decline, but he's still one of the best against the run. He's also an intimidator who could get in the head of his competition. Sean Jones and Ellis Hobbs are good pickups, but they don't know the system and they might not translate well to that Eagles style of defenese. Philly places a lot of talent on the defensive line and look for linebackers that can blitz. The downside to this attacking style of defense is that their secondary has a tremendous amount of pressure on it and often works in single coverage. Look at Burress' big games against the Eagles (whom he abused more than any other NFC East team) and you'll see most of his work comes while in single coverage. I think that Eagles offense will be better, but I would like to see how their defense plays. And, of course, there are always the positives and negatives of Donovan McNabb... In stark contrast to the Eagles' draft, the Giants invested their money and picks in a lot of physical players. I think their team is built around being physically dominant and bloodying the nose of their opposition. I think the two teams are in for some epic battles, but I think the superior depth of the Giants' dline and their talent in the secondary give them the edge. I also think the Giants rushing attack and offensive line are talented enough to take some of the onus to win off Eli and this young WR core (which I don't think is as bad as the media & fanbase are making it out to be). Man, I hate the off-season!
learn to swim and green machine are idiots, first i am not a dog and second Philly sucks are d-line is the best in the leauge come on osi, tuck, robbins, cofeild, (i wish we still had strahan) benard, canty, alford, and dont forget the best defense in the NFL. :eaglessuck: by the way all giants real giants fans would agree with me ( freindly giants fan) and NYJ2K09 is not my owner he is my cousin ok thank you and have a nice day and one last thing everyone has spelling issues so to make fun just makes you more of a retarded geek or just a retard.
