Why the hell are you still defending this?? No one cares about your crush on Kerry and quite frankly, we are scared to be in a room alone with you.
...which is nuts in its own right. If you so badly hate the Sanchez and Greene picks, why on Earth would a ZOMG Madden-style trade cause you to do a 180 on Tannenbaum's draft performance? Such a trade doesn't take Sanchez or Greene off the roster, nor does it add any other players other than Edwards. For all the volume of your complaints - and by the way, wasn't it a little early to play the Nazi card? - it's surprising you could be so easily pleased.
I highlighted the part where Nesquik said it. I quoted Nesquik's post. Oh boy, are you getting confused about who you are now, too? With such a memorable username?
I'm thinking if we don't get a WR with our last pick, we go out and sign Marvin Harrison. A good mentor for the young guys and can be a 3rd option behind Cotchery and Clowney.
Well, right now it looks like Sanchez will be handing-off the ball most of the time. He'll only be throwing for short yardage. There are still too many holes to fill. And I didn't consider RB a serious need for the Jets. So now we have to hope that Sanchez isn't the future Matt Leinart and that Green can step it up in the NFL. We gave up a lot to get these two guys. It had better pan-out.
Getting back to Greene, the kid has never fumbled at Iowa. 376 total carries. That's impressive. That rotoworld article posted earlier overstates his receiving abilities at least by the stats: 2008: 8 total catches. Career: 11 total catches. It appears he had academic issues in 2007 and lost his scholarship and hence, did not play. Had a great year statistically in 2008--this cannot be denied.
