i like that we got a RB since TJ is acting up but are we giving up to much in picks and potential players for the future....
Le'Ron McClain was supposed to just be a fullback, right? Rex got to see firsthand when a big guy like that gets moving- McClain ran a 40 of 4.94 so there's no comparison between the two speed wise. You can't have it both ways- Greene is huge and you won't get a 4.40 in the 40 from a guy his size. Also, his legs are still fresh because he didn't really get that many carries during school. Plus, the Jets got two guys with interesting background- a full, blooded Mexican American in Sanchez and a guy who grew up in New Jersey. Both guys seem like team players and good guys.
Jarron Gilbert is going to be an incredible player in the NFL, and we have a crappy RB. Good going, fuckebaum.
I read the entire post and it is silly to think that an undrafted reciever will suddenly become a factor on the team and be a contributor right away. The percentages are bad enough with drafted WR to come in and contribute......Its even worse with undrafted WR's (FYI I dont hate Greene, just never thought RB is such a huge need as you all think it was.....Could have been waited until next year. Unlike both WR and a blocking TE)
Kid, you didn't know who David Veikune was yesterday and now you're a draft expert? Once again, stop crying...(your SN is a little creepy -- you want Kerry Rhodes to...take ...you...home?)
For those who thought Gilbert will be available at our clot, I am glad that we did not wait and rather jumped up for Green.I would have been happy with either Green or Gilbert.I prefer Green for what I think we are going to do.RUN RUN RUN!!!!
Surprised we didn't go Gilbert, but if Rex ran his work out, and still didn't pick him.. that's enough red flag. Greene is solid. Look to see us trade TJ today.
