No link just a report on ESPN, the Arizona Cardinals have lowered their price for Anquan Bodin to a 2nd round pick and cash considerations and/ or players.

New York Jets, New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles are among the teams interested.

I definitely wouldn't mind a 2nd for Boldin. I did not want to give up a 1st and 3rd for him. That's a lot to give up, especially since we need more than just a WR to turn us into a SB contender.

I would do this for a #2 pick. We need one anyway.

I think a 2nd for Boldin is a no-brainer. We probably would have drafted an unknown WR with a 1st. Might as well get a proven Pro Bowl WR with a 2nd instead. maybe use the 1st for a RB or TE. We could maybe even trade down, recoup the 2nd, and still get Pettigrew.

Our biggest need is WR opposite Cotch, Boldin would be a huge upgrade. I hope we find a way to get him.

This must be a joke...the Cardinals went from asking for a 1st and 3rd rounder, to a 2nd rounder?? NO WAY. Weren't the Ravens already offering a 1st rounder and Todd Heap?...They would rather have a 2nd????? Makes no sense to me...

If they are really asking for a 2nd rounder... I don't see how we don't do this. Get it. Fucking. Done.

2nd makes this deal very enticing

    They lowered from a 1 & 3 to a 2 & 3 not just a 2.

All we have to do is match whatever the giants and eagles offer and we got him. It would be stupid for the defending NFC champs to trade within their conference. Make it a second with a conditional 1st in 2010. Tannenbaum special.

2nd round is the spot to be at. I would've wanted maybe a 2nd and 3rd.

Good move by the Cards if they can get someone to take them up on this trade. Not only do they get rid of a (great, but injury-prone) player in a stacked position who wants out but it also clears all that cap space, and they'll get a quality player in the 2nd round to help the team out in another position.

I just dont see the Cards trading boldin to a NFC team. It smells a little fishy that they are dropping their asking price though. If the price is a 2nd rounder the Jets better jump all over that. Boldin is better than any WR we would land in the 2nd round.

    Done and done.

Use the 1st to either take Moreno or to trade back if possible and grab Donald Brown.

Tannenbaum said on Francesa today that there's a "remote" chance the Jets will make a deal for anyone before the draft. That makes me think that we're definitely getting Boldin.

I'm reading 2nd Round AND a player. Can anyone confirm? Any idea who they might want from our roster? I've mentioned Thomas Jones, but the proposed position has shifted from team to team. I've heard RB or TE are the two they seek. This could work out for the Titans if they're willing to send Bo Scaife.

Whoever started this thread left out an important part...Paolantonio said the Cardinals will consider lowering their asking price of a "2ND ROUND PICK AND PLAYER OR PLAYERS TO BE NAMED LATER". A little different than just a 2nd round pick...thanks for the bad information.
