    1) The Dolphins. Ginn, Camarillo and Hagan. Fins are still waiting for Ginn to develop into a starting receiver.

    2) The Titans. Justin McCareins.

    3) The Jaguars. Torry Holt is on the decline, big time.

    4) The Raiders. Chaz Schilens (7'12", 347 lbs. 2.5 forty) or Javon Walker.

    5) The Ravens. Mark Clayton has not developed like they thought he would and Derrick Mason just played his last great season.

    6) The Browns. They've got Braylon, who desperately wants out, and Stallworth, who will be going in for a long time.

    7) The Niners. Isaac Bruce is their top threat.

    8) The Rams. Donnie Avery has potential, but who else is on this team? Drew Bennett?

    9) The Seahawks. I have never been a Whosyourmama fan, and I think Seattle has a long history of bringing in wide outs who don't pan out. (Branch, Burleson). Bringing in a 30+ number two will not change that.

    10) The Bucs. Fuck Antonio Bryant. I can't believe he complained about getting the franchise tag. He's never going to have a bigger payday. That dude's psychosis puts TO to shame.

    11) The Bears. Their best wide out is a converted cornerback.

TEAMS WITH BETTER WR SITUATIONS THAT I WOULD NOT SWITH PLACES WITH:

    12) The Bills. T.O.

    13) The Bengals. Two of the biggest distractions in the league. And there is a real good reason the Bengals can't find a second round pick for Chad Johnson.

    14) The Redskins. They seem COMPLETELY stocked. But if you break it down, I think they're stocked with serious underachievers. Santana, Devin Thomas and Malcolm Kelly are all half-asses.

Honarable Mentions to the Eagles and Giants. Two teams without a number one receiver (but I think they are still in good shape).

NO RECEIVER ON DAY ONE UNLESS MACLIN FALLS TO US. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

    You're crazy...

The Redskins are stacked...period. Also, you wouldn't take Lee Evans and Terrell Owens? Don't know if I agree with you're better than situations. As far as the ones who are worse off, I agree.

I like the WRs we have, but we don't have a proven #1 and looking at our QB situation, I think it's better to be safe than sorry.

the jets have gotten by for several years without investing much in the WR position - moss was a 1, mccareins for a 2, coles for a 3 - and thats about it over the years.

if they are going to promote this smash mouth running style they still need to invest in the position to protect the offense.

IMO - this draft gives them that opp to get another quality guy to take the heat off the running game.

i wouldn't mind the TE pettigrew (though not at 17), maclin, and/or britt (also not at 17)

I would not take T.O. if he paid to get on our team. I like Lee Evans and I like James Hardy.

While I agree their WR situation is worse, Holt is NOT big time on the decline. He may not be what he was 5-6 years ago, but he's still a top WR in the league and has plenty in the tank. Can't judge by last years' stats, that was a shit team. It was a miracle he did as well as he did. I'd be thrilled if he were a Jet, but sadly he's not.

The Dolphins are better off than the Jets right now -- you forget about Davone Bess.

Teddy Ginn isn't and will never be worth a top ten pick, but he's becoming better every year.

Ernest Wilford is also a threat in the redzone...he just has to stay healthy.

Anthony Fasano is also a pretty good tight end.

If Stafford does drop down and the Seahawks pick him up, anyone think the Bengals grab Crabtree and drop the price for Ocho precipitously?

OP, the point is you didn't name a single team that anybody is afraid of. Who cares if we are better than any of them? (And I expect the Bears receivers will start to shine now that THEY have a franchise QB)

They aren't trading Ocho they got an offer of a 1st last year and said no and this year a 2nd and said no. The GM there doesn't want to let a player talk his way out of town so unless someone offers alot I say no.

    Bears WR
    Aromashodu, Devin
    Bennett, Earl
    Broussard, John
    Davis, Rashied
    Rideau, Brandon

I doubt it they better get some WR help here otherwise I see Cutler having another hissy fit and sucking this year.

Most of those teams had pretty bad offenses last year. We may be better off than them but by how much? Right now our WR situation is worse than it was last year.

The Dolphins have better receivers than us right now. Ginn and Bess are better than any receiver on our roster not named Cotchery.

Well Donnie, the Titans and the Dolphins should be feared; they won their divisions last year. The Ravens went deep into the playoffs, as well.

It seems these teams feel that solid trench players and dominant running games are more important than strong wide receiver corps. Ditto the Bears and Bucs, who just missed last year.

I don't think any team in the league felt comfortable playing any of those teams.

You didn't mention the best WR on the team who is Hester...I think he will have a huge year with Cutler throwing to him.

Nobody fears the Dolphins or the Titans nor should they. The Jets proved the Titans flaws last year and the Wildcat was a one year wonder.

Earl Bennett was great as a freshman at Vanderbilt...with Jay Cutler as a his quarterback.

Other than Bennett and Hester, the Bears are thin at receiver. They need a tall, possession guy - Brian Robiskie to the Bears makes a lot of sense.

Oh wow, solid observation. Do you think that affected the Bears pursuit of Cutler? That's really interesting.

But they have a pretty good TE.
I would take what they have over what we have right now...........
    I think
