Isn't this a rumor and therefore will not happen?

is that another smoke screen or....? I mean of all the rumors flying around, not one sign points to quinn being traded at all, nor that we are interested in him. Heck he's probably the only guy on the market we arent interested in right now.

That said, i agree with your actual message so many rumors are flying with us, clearly at least 3/4 of them are smokescreeens, the problem is identifying which are smoke grenades and where the fire is.

Personally I would say its a trade down up coming.

OP's suggestion is silly, but no one took the Favre talks seriously last year, either.

Categorical statements are dumb. Sometimes rumors are bullshit, and sometimes they have legs.

I think you invoked the TGG curse. If someone brings it up here, it NEVER happens. I am only a member here for 1-1/2 years but I have seen it's power.

    :shit:

If you consider what we would have to give up for Quinn comared to what we might have to give up for sanchez, I'd say yeah go for Quinn, cause he'll be cheaper and still good talent... But if both players cost the same thing.. I go with sanchez..

    LMFAO

NFL Draft Scout's Rob Rang says he's heard that the Jets may be among the teams interested in Brady Quinn.
Dealing for Quinn could be a fallback plan if the Jets can't trade up for Mark Sanchez. Still, Quinn is even more unproven than Kellen Clemens. Quinn has more physical ability, but would likely take the 17th overall pick to acquire.

I also read this morning that we may be interested in signing Quinn lol Ordipends how the board plays out, if the 3 guys that we want are gone, and we are going to take Freeman, why not trade back, pick up some later picks and send our first for Quinn. If i had to choose between Sanchez/Freeman/Quinn, there is only one winner and that's Quinn.

That is most definitely in the rumor mill and I think it can happen. Even Anderson may get traded here, One thing for sure, anybody who still thinks the Jets won't come out of this draft with a QB is a complete idiot. Trade or draft they will get one.
