Does Kay still do that stupid thing every sixth inning or whatever it is when he describes the teams uniforms? "no names. . . ofcourse." Light years ahead of Waldman and Charlie Steiner, but still no excuse.

Its also been pretty exciting to see Gardner playing well. Hes slapping the ball around, and we know hes a terror on the basepaths...

Melky just solidified his spot on the bench.

I disagree. Nothing wrong with a 3 pitch stikeout when you finally get a chance to prove you can do something. :)

I believed that back in the winter when Long had just come back from spending time with him fixing his stance. I always had a problem with the "way" he hit, not his natural ability. His problem was always taking his eyes off the ball, and tweaking his stance to be more compact has solved that problem.

Sterling and Kay on the radio, and fire Waldman. That would make me happy.

I don't recall hearing it yet, but I tune him out a lot. I'm sure he does. I think at the beginning of games. "...interlocking NY..." blah, blah, blah.

I'm very happy (and quite a bit surprised) to see I was wrong about him.

We should just trade him while we still have a chance to get some value out of him...

Swisher needs to play more. 4-6 to start the season with 1 HR and 5 RBIs.

    I feel better.

We should make a routine here for starting game threads. Only the Yankees fans regulars in these threads should be allowed to make the series threads. If you make a series thread and the Yankees lose the series, you cant make the next one. ( no offense NYJ2K09) If they win the series, you make the next series thread, and continue to do so until they lose one.

    what do you guys think...

Right on. Bats came alive today. Swisher is playing great so far and Cano looks rejuvenated. Time will tell whether or not it's an abberation. The middle of the lineup stil needs to get it going.
