nope season is not over. I correctly called the season over last year by looking at the team....I havent seen enough....I would imagine we will win a lot of games this year...but we still cant get a runner in with less than two outs....
Not much positive to take from this game, Cc was pathetic, we still can't get a clutch hit, 1-8 with risp, and the bullpen was terrible in the 8th.
If only the plate was 4 inches to the left (from the pitcher's perspective) and on an 8 inch platform, CC would have been lights out.
haha of course, youre right but the frustrating thing is there were a lot of similarities between this game and our typical loss last year....much like oral sex, the whole thing just left a bad taste in my mouth
I agree with Don. This first game of the season made it painfully obvious that we need Joba in the pen for the all-important eighth inning. And Sabathia is a fat slob who can't pitch and was a total waste of money. ( :rofl: ) I just wanted to check in to see if Don was using one game to say he was "right." Too funny. And he called himself "the smart one," too?! Oh man, this is great stuff.
With only 161 games remaining I'm not sure if the NYY have enough time to get it together in the almighty AL East.
