If each scenario yielded the same record and playoff performance, which would fire you up more in 2009?
Well the first scenario is impossible so let's just throw that out the window. We're gonna be a defensive minded team so to see Gholston perform at a high level would be sick
I think that 10 plus wins is a no brainer if you are a jets fan. Likely means a playoff birth, with one of the other two, if not both scenarios happening
A lot of people thought the same of Cassel last year before he got his chance. It might not be probable but it's definitely possible.
i dont lack any confidence in gholston, especially under Rex Ryan. so I picked the first one. honestly if we could make the playoffs with either one under center, we have our "franchise qb". then we can continue addressing the depth of EVERY OTHER unit on this team and wed be legit contenders for years to come. plus ive been waiting to see clemens get a fair shot. mix that in with the earlier stated belief I think Gholston will be a contributor this year. so ya the first one.
I think Chicago has some nice WRs and they're gonna tailor their offense around Cutler. He's gonna fling it around a bit and put up some numbers
Yeah just imagine if Chicago still had Berrian for Cutler to throw it downfield to. That combo would have been pretty lethal.
I voted for option three, but I didn't read the first post properly. What would really fire me up the most would be option #2, easily. So subtract one from #3 and add one to #2.
Yea that would've been sick but Hester did some nice things...hopefully for their sake his hands got better
Disagree. Berrian hasn't done anything in the league to call him part of a lethal combo. He's not bad however, but he is yet to reach the 1000 yards barrier in his 5 or 6 season. He came pretty close to it last yr though. Cotch is better than him.
Well he hasn't really ever has a good QB to work with. He's so good at going vertically down the field and creating separation that I think he would have a much bigger impact playing with Cutler than Rex Grossman or Tarvaris Jackson.
