He's right. Burress is not what a real thug looks like.

The more i read about him the more i dislike him, and think that he will probably have more of a detrimental effect to this team. He seems like a selfish self absorbed asshole, showing up late for meetings, not re-working his deal to help the team out, getting out of practices, would that even work under Ryan? I don't think anyone can doubt his caliber on the field, but it's his overall effect on the team environment that i would be worrying about, initially i was for it, but reading more on him......not so much anymore.

If he couldn't keep his shit together for Cowher or Coughlin then there is no way he would for Ryan. Ryan seems like he's more of a player's coach than a disciplinarian and if Burress couldn't avoid fucking around for those two masses of vitriol and saliva then I'm not so sure that Ryan would be able to reel him in.

Ahhh, fuck that's twice this morning. That shit is going to live in my nightmares for the next month. Looks like I'm back to drinking red bulls and popping stacker 2's to keep myself from having to see that horror.

Totally agree , but I believe that some people need more chances than others , not a popular thing to say I know , but thats just me.

If the Giants released him they must have an inside source telling them old Plax is going to be going away for a while. Any team that signs him before he goes to trial is setting their money on fire...... Daniel Snyder is already making calls to his agent.

Which would be illegal. An educated guess maybe , but more likely that they came to a realisation that enough is enough and want to move on before the draft , getting their house in order I guess.

Absolutely, usually i am all for that, but Burress being 31 leads me to believe that by now he shouldn't be making mistakes and he shouldn't need to be given more chances. Sure would love a guy of his caliber in our receiving core though, that's for sure

I'm all for giving Plax a second chance. I think the NY State prison system has a great program on advanced basket weaving.

He is definitely going away for awhile. the DA has even said that any plea deal will include jail time. To make it worse, the politicians have weighed in on it and want him to get the max. That won't happen but he will probably get a year.

If there were no legal troubles, then yea, sign him. But now, why not just wait to see how things pan out, and see how much jail time he gets. Besides, he could still face action from the league. I really doubt he even plays this year.

Burress seems like the type who needs a gun to get the respect he deserves. I think the gun carry laws in Texas and Colorado may be a better fit.

I liked him when he came out of college and wanted the Jets to draft him but that never happened. SO I say take him for one year and let the younger WR learn a thing or two from him. Plus this guy can change a game.

Owning and firing an unregistered weapon in Texas and Colorado is still illegal. It's dumb too. :eek:hmy:

Not sure how much influence Bloomturd has in the final outcome, but he sure made it a point that he was going to make an example of Plax.

I do not think that Plax is a bad guy or a thug. Plax just has his brain on backwards & he is incredibly moody.
