if cambell could bring the skins to the promised land, they would not be looking to trade him.
as far as a second round pick, they're dreaming...

The Redskins don't want him after he had his best season as a Pro (which was actually pretty decent). That tells you all you need know

I don't get the Campbell hate. People that don't want Cutler whine that he's too risky and all this offense need is a game manager. Newsflash folks...Campbell is the perfect game manager. He doesn't throw picks. 6 last year in 500 attempts.

They were in a 5 week span and all against really good defenses. I can see if it was sparsed out but. The Redskins were decent because of Portis.

If the Redskins feel that starting over in 2009, in exchange for a #2, is better than bringing Campbell back in 2009 why would we want another team's reject?

It was worth a shot at Cutler, but Campbell?

Clemens suffered behind a horrible OLine in 2007 and Ratliff hasn't gotten a chance yet. Let's see what we got in-house first.

Jason Campbell is garbage that's why, 'cause he's no better than what we already have.

I'd rather see what we have than get an average-to-below average QB.

That's a very good thought, so let's follow your logic:

    Campbell is garbage
Campbell is no better than what we have

    So...

    What we have is garbage

(I don't actually want Campbell, just playing devil's advocate)

And as Devils advocate, I would say your logic is 100% True... what we have is garbage!!!

You mean the QB's we have right now aren't ALREADY below average?

I wonder if Jason Campbell will now get pissed at the Redskins and demand a trade because his name was involved in trade rumors. Could be a lesser scale Jay Cutler situation there.

HAHAHA Then Vince Young is mentioned by Tennessee in Campbell talks making him upset and demanding a trade. And the circle goes on and on until it reaches Eric Ainge and he gets upset at the Jets for trade talks over Joey Harrington.

    ...The cosmic balance...goes on.
