    Darrelle Revis > Jay Cutler.

I'll be infuriated if they even think about moving him.

Players worth moving for Jay Cutler:
    Matt Chatham
    Eric Smith
    Jason Turner

I'm not worried about a RB these days, especially with how our OLine is constructed, you can find RBs...You cannot find 25 year old Franchise QBs who have shown it.

We should have picked up Colt Brennan instead of Ainge. That's my 2 cents. :)
(I wonder if it is too late...)

Kurt, do you remember when we've been at TC together? Do you ever recall Mangini actually doing any COACHING? All he ever did was basically the same thing he did during his press conferences, walk around chewing gum and taking notes and offering up worn out cliches about "consisency" and meaningless concepts like his "Three Phases." All that crap is worthless to a rookie who needs basic coaching, development tips, knowledge and positive reinforcement.

As I think back on it now, getting rid of this worthless POS was the best off-season move we've made in years (maybe second only to leaving the door open for Edwards to depart). Rookies in camp were pretty much left to their own development and/or devices. A guy like Gholston either learns on his own or he doesn't, because there is no real COACHING going on, starting from the top down. If you're lucky to have natural God-given talent like Revis or Leon, you succeed. Otherwise, TS.

All that is going to change under Ryan. I'm really looking forward to this season. I want to see if Ryan can turn Gholston into something special. It won't be for lack of trying on Ryan's part, that's for sure.

Cutler is going to the Bucaneers. Bank on that. Why would Denver send him to the AFC? Heck, he could be sent to Chicago or Minnesota too. Maybe even Detroit.

I was only being figurative. I do not worry about RB's either. A quality DT, on the ohter hand, is a huge find because they are tough to get.

Like I said, I wouldn't mind the guy on the team, but I would be very upset if we traded away key-named defensive players as part of the deal.

I firmly believe that a great defense makes up for a lot of short-comings in the QB department.

I don't know if Rex was smoke screening or not, but the statement he made about him being totally comfortable with his current QBs and then completely backing it up through actions may not count for much on paper, but it would be huge in the player respect circle. I think that Rats can get the job done. I would be willing to gamble on that.

Clemens, I believe, will be nothing more than a good career backup. I would not be upset if the jets traded him even if it had nothing to do with the acquiring Cutler.

im callin cutler to ny for 17, next years first, and TJ. hes disgruntled anyway and on the downside use him in the deal keep revis and harris. besides, denver would love a vet like TJ to work with their stable of young backs.

Josh McDaniels is starting off as a failure rather than having a clean slate in Denver. The owner should have got rid of him instead. If McDaniels doesn't have immediate success he'll be run out of town in no time.

I agree. Denver would be stupid to trade him within the same conference....

Agreed. Put it this way, if you look at the present roster, if Revis leaves we would see more of a fall off than if Cutler does not come to the Jets and Clemens or Ratliff is the Qb.

(least ways that's my opinion and I'm sticking with it)

Granted, not a very good way to get started.

Yes, but everybody on the Jets got great at punching the bag. I have always wondered how that translated to football since if you are seen doing it; it is immediate ejection and fines.

Unless somebody offers way more than any of those teams do.

Yes, McDaniels, has made a slip up of Kotite proportions.

I think its likely they'll let Cutler go to some other team unless we are able to get him without having to give up a lot. I'm OK with what we already have at QB. Between the three I'm sure one of them will be at least average and that's all we need. I'd be pretty sad if we gave up a lot to get him. He's a good QB, and its rare to see a young, proven QB on the market, but we shouldn't mortgage the future for it.

I think we should see what we have in Ratliffe, he could very well be the goods....I dont think you can promote a team concept when you bring in a whiny prima donna QB...our roster qb's haven't been afforded a chance yet...
