This is what i heard, this person I know said Rex Ryan has been talking to the President of the College about them holding TC here. Before the Giants picked Albany, Cortland was a "finalist" for them too.
God I hope not I have decided to be selfish in my wishes, I want TC on my side of Cuse. Hell just hold it at Cuse! the Carrier dome would make for some sweet practices, with the ability to hold thousands of fans. But really I still say Fisher makes sense as well, seeing as how the bills have done things at Fisher, so therefore it shows NFL use just as much as Cortland does. edit: never mind, I was right about the Bills using Fisher for scrimmages and what not. It actually is the site of their TC. so nm on that. I still want TC closer to home than at Cortland. preferably on this side of Syracuse, plenty of the Rochester schools have good football facilities, RIT and U of R both have solid Facilities, not really at Fisher's caliber, but hey a guy can hope right?
Why do they need dorms? lots of teams have TC at their team facilities, just the players go home at the end of the day.
So in other words..instead of me making a yearly trip for a week's worth of Cushy LI hotels,food and nightlife after watching 4 1/2 of jets practice. I'll have to drive likely an extra 3 hours from my house,out to the sticks..stay in a dive hotel and endure the non-existant upstate night life? Thanks woody.
I was really looking forward to having TC closer to my home than Hofstra this year. I've been schlepping from Jersey for the past 3 years. I'm sure some others will go upstate, but come on... WTF is the new facility in FP for but to enable local Jets fans to go watch their team and bring their kids and grand kids. Lord knows they won't be able to attend a regular game after this year, it'll all be too expensive. Woody, get your freaking head out of your ass for once.
During my recent trip Upstate I got a speeding ticket for going 72 on 55... no way I am going there again.
This "organization" nevers ceases to amaze me, $75 mil, no dorms, no parking, no bleachers....so let's make the workers take 2 weeks of no pay....can't make this shit up, ....mine as well move the camp near the Canadian border for privacy and increase the fan base......
Fuck photo ops and tourists wearing Jets gear and straw hats. I want Woody to build Rex and underground lair with a football field so that the Mad Scientist can work his black magic. I want our players coming out of training camp indoctrinated with a wolf-pack mentality and kinetically reprogrammed for violence. Either that or they should go to Russia and do it up Rocky IV style.

....every time I believe we are on the right path to creating a top-notch organization, we (ownership/GM/HC) do something to demonstrate that they have no clue....
I was looking forward to going to TC this year for the first time in a couple of years. Finally the commute would be nice and now they find out that the complex is not set up for the normal TC crowd. You have got to be kidding me. Just when you think you have seen it all with this franchise.
