lol, thats what I was thinking but @ the same time, thats how it usually goes in Sports...To me...The Championship series or game is always more exciting than the SB or WS for some weird reason. Red Sox vs Rays...Those teams have had bad blood over the years, I remember when Gerald Williams knocked the F outta Pedro Martinez when charging the mound, I remember a couple of fights with the Rays and Red Sox but last year...It really got UGLY with Crisp and Shields and thats what made that ALCS so exciting last year for fans of baseball...The bad blood was still there. Rays vs Phillies? No history there.
We may not have a winning history but we have over 10 years of history with 1 AL Pennant and believe me, im not sure if you really follow baseball like you say you do, because...If you knew anything about the Devil Rays and Red Sox, you would know that these two teams really dislike eachother...May not be a Yankees-Red Sox hatred, thats one of the best rivals in sports, but I guess you can say its just an AL East thing. Just about every real Boston fan along with Rays fans understand that these two teams DONT like eachother and havnt for years now.
