The Jets didn't even attempt to sign Olshanksy - it's not like the Jets were one of his top teams and he chose Dallas over New York.
i dont think we needed him...he will be a starter in dallas (unless they get a bigger nt and move ratliff to end)....so with ellis and coleman he wouldnt have come here anyway
I think his price range was a little beyond what they were looking for. I think he's a guy they should have considered, but this tells me that maybe they're looking for a long term solution in the draft. I think Marques Douglas, although old, will provide an upgrade. He has always been solid in this scheme, and I think we need to get moving on locking him up short-term. It was unfortunate to see Moseley go, he's the kind of talent that I thought might thrive under Ryan. I am concerned about Ellis falling off this season, and Coleman has never impressed. I hope they address this early in the draft, it's a major issue. -X-
It wouldn't make much sense to bring in another established NFL starter at this point since Coleman and Ellis are our guys. Now bringing in a rookie DE in the earlier rounds would be a nice idea.
Dallas as usual over paid, but they had to replace Canty. Canty would not have cost much more... stupid move by Dallas.
I thought they'd go with former 3rd round pick from Grambling Jason Hatcher or Stephen Bowen to replace him. I see them rotating in a lot. If I were them, I would have looked for a veteran 3-4 DE that would cost far less and let the younger guys play..
learn how to title a thread if you did it right you'd have posted in the correct forum....that is a perfect example of why titling threads like this is wrong and done by the needy who want peopele to read their pointless posts
i never bother reading the other forums and enjoy reading things right here. if you don't like the thread, then why in gods good name do you even click on it?
