I just had to say this in hindsight: Isn't it amazing what a moron Mangini is? I maen since arriving in Cleveland he's ruffled everyone's feathers by painting over a mural of Browns greats, ignored his best defensive player who in turn has demanded his release, traded away arguably his best player on offense in Kellen Winslow Jr, and is shopping his 2nd best offensive weapon on the trade market. Dear GOD how could we have dealt with this guy for 3 years? What an abosolute Ass wipe. Just had to get that off my chest. Thanks.
somehow he was tolerable here, but since he went to Cleveland he really thinks who is he is. I wonder what put him over the edge from stubborn non-adjuster to the ultimate napoleon. I really think Mangini is the Browns Kotite.
Mangini is a pretty decent coach... if he makes the learning curve he could be in the league a while. Calling him an idiot without looking oneself n the mirror is a bit short-sighted, imo. Weird stuff in Cleveland, but we'll see how it turns out in a couple of years.
15 years ago Mangini was a ball boy for the Browns. I guess he feels like the Sheriff is back in town.
He has done nothing to show he is a pretty decent coach. He won with a team that he inherited in his first year playing the easiest schedule in the NFL. Then when he had to play a tough schedule he went 4-12. This past year after spending half the money on the planet, trading for one of the greatest QBs in history and again playing one of the easiest schedules in the NFL he starts off 8-3 and then completely collapses over the last 5 games. Explain where he has shown that he is a pretty decent coach?
Mangini could have Superman and the Silver Surfer on the roster, but if they aren't cut out for the 3-4, they're gone.
You are arguing with me over whether he's a decent coach... that fact that you think he is not.... is my proof.
As long as were still talking about Eric Mangini, has anyone else noticed that his ears are too small? I think he's a mole-man.
it reminds me alot of what Matt Doherty did when he took over as head coach of UNC and reportedly got rid of many indicators of Dean Smith -- this was going to be his program, dammit! good luck, Mangini.
now im not a mangini supporter, although i liked the way he did things, he obv didnt succed here and im glad we have rex, With that said, Winslow is a premaddona, that is 1 injury prone and 2 a guy i wouldnt want on my team. And Shaun Rogers is a fat slob, a very talented one yes, but what did you want him to do about him. Although mangini didnt build a winner here, im still confident he will become a good coach somewhere
mangini was always a power and control freak. he is doing nothing more than continuing to display that in cleveland. he digs his own hole with his out of control behavior. he really has a problem with his own self worth and definitely a napoleon complex. he will suck, however i think it will take less time to figure it out there than it did here. hey at least we will know that the last 2 coaches we had were complete and total shitbags of coaches in a couple years. hopefully rex doesnt turn out the same way.
