nice, this is classic funniness...

for all we know though, sorgi could be the 2nd best QB in the league

 

He played poorly last season because he was coming off an injury and didn't want to be an Eagle, Lito had an EXCELLENT season in 2006, hopefully with new energy and a new team he can return back to that pro bowl form, plus, he's only 27.

 

really lets be honest draft picks are a roll of the dice if this guy is really performs I dont think in a year from now we will be bitchin to much about giving up a second rounder.

That being said if his poor play from last season spills over I will be fuming

 

great point. who knows what were going to get with a draft pick. but we all know what lito can do. i think he didnt play that well last year because he just wanted out and wasnt happy. now that he knows he is going to be a starter again with a new team he will be energized again. i think this was a great move

 

So you won't bitch too much on giving up a second rounder, but you'd be fumed for a 5th plus 4th?

exactly what i said in another fourm. on paper we can be sending 5-6 defensive players to the probowl next year. revis, lito(if signed), jenkins, rhodes, harris and scott

 

Wow, I never saw this one coming. This is a great move. With Revis and now Shepperd, we will be able to play lots of man-to-man, and send our backers to wreak havoc in the opponents backfield.

 

although i like hte move, eagles fans on their boards don't. they were happy with the return, hopefully he works out

The draft picks are minor, the fact that they are minimal would be good if he ended up sucking

 

Kerry Rhodes just orgasmed. He has been crippled by not having a good 2nd corner because he hasn't been able to roam and make plays. With Sheppard, and possibly Leohnard, Rhodes should be in for a career year if our pass rush performs anywhere near what they are capable of.

I thought Sheppard was way older than 27. If that is accurate, what an awesome deal. Man why is football season so far away...

 

He'll be 28 in April I believe....

 

My reaction to the moves today:

 

All I have to say about this is....

Our Head Coach was the main coach of that AMAZING Raven's D. We have nothing to worry about D wise.

Great day to be a Jets fan.

 

If this actually happens then what a solid pickup. Sheppards been a top corner when healthy and has all the skills to be a great #2 alongside Revis.

 

i believe lito sheppard was one of the options on the draft board the year bryan thomas was picked at 22 or so......
