Ugh. I don't think the Jets getting rid of a 4th rounder is a good idea. 2009 5th or 6th + 2010 3rd would be better. The Eagles are gonna draft Kerry Rhodes with that pick. I don't mean a similar player. They will find a fucking loophole and draft Kerry Rhodes from us. It's a Jets' fourth rounder, anything is possible!
This would be a nice upgrade. I would really like our top 4 Corners if we get Shepard and Ivy to go with Revis and Lowry
Sheppard for a 4th would be awesome I am a little concerned as to why his performance was so poor that he ended up not playing towards the end of the year
yeah that is a question I have and on a bigger level if this guy underperformed so much that he lost his job is he really what we need at a number 2 corner, that's not a position you can just let rot away (see last year)
Probably dime behind Lowery unless they plan on changing his position, which I think would be a pretty big mistake.
I haven;t seen anything official, I see one link from a eagles board and a few speculations that they are working on it
The reports about his under peformance have alot to do with him being in a contract squabble with the Eagles and then in the middle of the squabble they went out and signed Samuel to a huge deal. It was more about him being in the dog house than him not being any good.
LMFAO....I was scrolling through the thread waiting to drop that bomb. NIce way to date yourself bro....:rofl2:
He's a nickel. Lowery will start at 2. Are you guys so f*ng blind with the lowery hate, that you cant appreciate that he plays ACROSS FROM REVIS...and had no pass rush down the stretch...?
Sheppard for a 5th and a conditional Breaking: Sheppard To Be Traded Breaking news out of Philadelphia. Sources close to both teams have just informed me that Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Lito Sheppard will be traded to the New York Jets in exchange for a 5th round draft pick, as well as a conditional draft pick based on playing time. The conditional pick could be either a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th round pick. More on this story as it develops. http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/2009/02/breaking-sheppard-to-be-traded/
