where do we think Brett Favre will play next season?

how can he go there by himself if the Jets hold his rights and would have to trade him? because the Jets aren't certainly going to release him if he unretired.

I was wondering how you could actually take this thread seriously despite the fact that every person who has responded before you were making a mockery of it, and you just answered that for me.

If the Jets make some noise in FA and make a trade and then pay the draft picks and are close to the cap again... and then Brett decides he doesn't want to be retired again... what are their options?

 

I read on this board that we would lose 3 first rounders if the Jets traded Favre to the Vikings. Now, if Favre wants to come out of retirement this season, The Jets would have the rights to him, very much like the Packers situation last year. Now, I am not sure what happens if we were to release Favre and then he signed with Minnesota.

 

that depends on whether they have to go over the mountains and through the woods to get to grandmothers house.

someone correct me if I am wrong, but if Favre is on the team after a certain date, he counts against the cap anyways, whether he is released or traded, so if that is correct, at the point in time that you are suggesting, the Jets wouldn't get any benefit from releasing him or trading him anyways,not to mention the fact that they wanted him back to play, so if he wanted to unretire, we'd keep him for that reason alone.
