It almost seems like the WWE is trying to have this rotation where Cena/HHH have been playing that face wrestler that the younger fans will really enjoy seeing. Then you have the flip side of Edge and Orton that are also champions that the older fans are supposed to enjoy. So many people hate Cena and the reason is because we are older and his gimmicks are somewhat childish. Thing is, he makes WWE a ton of money because of the younger fans. I think WWE is trying to balance this out with a champion for the older fans (in Orton or Edge)
I would rather Big Show or Taker or Kane be a champ then Edge and Orton. Orton is alright in small doses, but I deffinetly did not miss him after he was injured.
Captain Charisma is back!!!!!!! First match was on ECW. Since they have him as a face watch for some Edge/Matt vs Jeff/Christian matches.
2 elimination chamber matches tonight. Edge got eliminated by Jeff Hardy really early in the Smackdown EC match, and lost his belt. So when the Raw chamber was being filled, he beat the shit out of Kofi Kingston, ran in the cage and locked himself in Kofi's booth. And he won the Raw belt after eliminating Cena and Mysterio. Now that was just freakin sweet, I loved it! So now, Edge on Raw? I guess we'll see tomorrow. Can't have 2 champs on one show, so it'll either be Edge or HHH (the new SD champ) and which one gets Orton at 'mania? Orton vs Edge, I wouldn't know who to pull for.
What a crazy pay per view that was. Edge is the man. I expect HHH to Raw to face Orton. This will go with the whole McMahon-Legacy storyline as HHH faces Orton for his wife, Stephanie. Stephanie eventually turns on HHH IMO and aligns with Legacy. Edge to stay on SmackDown and face Undertaker I guess... I don't know. Maybe Jeff.
It's about fucking time. This taken from wrestlezone.com... The official press release for WWE's Randy Savage DVD reads: "He was one of the most controversial superstars in history of sports entertainment, through his complicated relationship with Miss Elizabeth, his dramatic WWE championship tournament run at WrestleMania IV, the formation and explosive breakup of the MegaPowers with Hulk Hogan, his reign as the Macho King, and his shocking jump to WCW. “Macho Man” Randy Savage brought a chaotic poetry to the ring. All I know is that the main event is supposed to be Orton vs. Cena. You'll probably get CM Punk vs. Regal or Kane... Cryme Tyme vs. Team Priceless, Melina and Kelly vs Beth Phoenix and Jillian Hall, it's usually the same show. I'd go if it wasn't such a pain ass to take the train from Brooklyn to LI.
That Wrestlemania 3 match with Macho vs. Ricky Steamboat was probably one of my top 3 favorite matches ever. OHHHH YEAH! SNAP INTO A SLIM JIM!
Thanks for the info I've haven't really watched wrestling seriously for a few years...but if nothing is on sure. My 89 year old grandpa loves wrestling. So I need to keep up with him on that.
