Besides being a piece of shit in his personal life, he isn't much of a QB. He's athletic and can run for a ton of yards, but with the game on the line I wouldn't want him behind center

I just laugh at everyone who truly thinks Vick is going to be reinstated. I don't see it happening, I'm sorry  .

Vick was not used right his whole career. He isn't a west coast QB, could you image if Ben Roethlisberger was in an offense like that????

He is always a Qb you should almost would rather the play break down and he create, and just like Ben a running team with a big D is exactly what the jets are shooting for. Mike Vick making 15-20 throws, big plays with his legs and arms is how he always should be used. Playaction and taking shots down the field after sucking Defense in with a punishing running game is perfect for Vick. Not trying to hit a 5 yard slant or 7 yard in.

He would be an amazing weapon in the Wildcat. Ship him down to Miami. At least we'd have two opportunities to knock him around every season.

If he went to Miami then you could count two losses for this franchise

^^^^^We just need to play, "Who Let the Dogs Out" every time he takes the field; amongst other gems out there like, "You Aint Nothin' but a Hound Dog."

Michael Vick is an all-around turd. I'm not an animal rights activist or anything, I'm not going to say that I'd rather see a human harmed than an animal... but let's just look at Vick's character. Do you really want this piece of shit in green and white? He helped organize an interstate gambling ring with fighting dogs. He's so stupid that he travels with concealment canisters with weed residue in them through the airport. The Ron Mexico thing. Plus, his dedication to mastering the playbook has been called into question before, and he's not very accurate, and he's been out of the game for a year, and he's been in jail. This guy has no character at all. He was gifted enough to get huge contracts in the NFL and he does all of that stupid shit. He's a jerkoff. I'm so happy the Jets didn't even entertain the notion.

people need to wake up and realize this.

i watched MOST of his pro career (as much as a non falcons fan can). the guy is a rb who can throw the ball 60 yards.

    thats basically it.

hes also infamous for a lack of putting in extra time studying the playbook, game film, and developing chemistry with WR's. you know, all the things that make a good quarterback, great.

most of his career was him running, throwing to Alge Crumpler, or fumbling.

i cant believe this thread lasted this long.

I simply don't see him being reinstated until 2010, at the earliest.

Him not playing now, is not the NFLs' punishment, it's the US Governments. Goodell will want to get his season in there as well.

And when he is back, I almost envision a Lawrence Phillips type career, post arrest. Given chances all over, but blows every single one.

No one is going to let him lead their team as QB, MAYBE a Leon Washington type role, if he bulks up a bit.

I've watched every single game with Vick at QB and the excuses I hear in here for Clemens is funny especially since these are some of the same people who criticize Vick.

Vick had an offensive line full of 5th to 7th Round Draft picks. Yeah the guy ran, because it was more dangerous at times for him to stay in the pocket. I've seen this guy get blind sided with a Julius Peppers sack and get up and keep it moving. Never complained about his offensive line or his receivers who were pups.

The Veterans were gotten rid of and Finneran was hurt, so Vick is given Roddy White and Michael Jenkins. His only veteran was Crumpler who came in the league the same year as Vick.

Vick has fumbled less than Brady

I'd much rather see them bring back Roger Vick than bring in Michael Vick.
