Yeah, I read that this morning, also. This guy sounds like he's sleepwalking. What a waste. I hope i'm wrong.

Post the article so I can read it instead of the context you want the quote in? That would be great, thx.

I posted the entire article as it relates to Gholston. The rest of it just talks about Namath's views on the Jets QB situation and who the Jets and Giants might look at at the combine.

That was all there was in the article Harpua, it was a kind of round-up, With Namath's views on the QB situation, and just some players that the Jets/Giants will be looking at this week in the combine. That was it's context, nothing else about him.

Yessh, not exactly a great peice of reporting then. A couple of small quotes really add nothing to the discussion about how Rex may be able to help out Vernon. Gholston is not a quote machine and will never be a leader. I'm interested to see if he can produce with Ryan's and his staff on him like they say they will be.

Is that from a NY area paper or is it online somewhere?

Also, in quotes you can't hear tone, and that go's a long way to establishing how and why what was said was said. I'm really not too bothered about what he says, it's what he does this training camp and next season.

No doubt. VG is a soft spoken guy. He's not one to come out and say all that much to the press. If Rex can light a fire under his ass and get him to play football I could care less if he ever has any good quote.

Wait and see doesn't inspire confidence in me.

But tremendous in terms of his growth sounds really positive.

    I reserve judgment until 2010.

I'm sorry but I really don't get how someone cannot get up for his rookie year. Usually its 2nd year slump , not Slump day 1.
Sorry Mr Gholston , but you have alot to prove , and don't think a new coach who also has alot to prove is going to jepordise his career because you like the weight room more than the football field.

nope, i'll keep correcting you. such a pure football fan. My worthless crap means that you get upset because I point out whats correct.

I believe the term is "too emotional." Keep attacking me personally too, gets you on a certain list as well.

next time - post the damn article and don't edit it to you liking. If i was a mod, that's technically fake news. Bye-bye

so you broke 2 rules in this thread. Keep it up champ.

You're a moron. I didn't edit the article. I posted it verbatum in quotes. I put my comments outside the quote. And I quoted the entire article as it relates to Gholston. Keep trolling me and that will put you on a certain list. Now go play in your sandbox with the other little kitties, and try to grow some brains.
