your such a loser. look at last season before you go throwing away next year. the falcons were in a worse situation than we are and they made the playoffs with a rookie head coach and qb. save the end of the world threads until we are 2-4 next season at least.

The team has talent, a coach who is going to attack on defense and some a nasty offensive line (3 contrasts from the 2007 season) in addition to alot of our young talent having a few years of experience now.

Personally, I think you need to stick to your day job.

    1. Thank God Favre retired. A huge cap hit and the friggin incerceptiod king

    2. Rookie Head Coaches don't always suck. Mangini had us at 10-6 his rookie season. Tony Sparano just took the Fins to the playoffs. Jim Harbough took the Ravens to the AFC chapionship.

    3. Which QB will do nothing? And how do you know who will be the starter?

    4. Our entire team sucked the last half of the season. And Favre sucked the most.

    5. Please don't go on. You can go ahead and be a hoser and talk about 2010.

If we go by what some of you guys like then yeah 2009 is a wrap.
You want Clemens to have a chance even though he has done nothing since he was drafted in 2006. Let's spend another year on him.
People in here would rather have Leftwich over Kerry Collins which is ridiculous.
When do you guys want to win is the real question?

I'm pretty confident in our D to be honest. Brett screwed the Jets last season, not the D.

Now that he is gone, I think we can do as well as we did this season. If Kellen Clemens has to O-line that we have now when he was starting, you would have seen that he is a real decent QB. He never was given a real chance with a GOOD line and now that he has that, I think he'll be fine.

This is from a guy who wants the 2006 pick to start. Guy can't even win the job, but you want him to have a chance.

yes i do....there's a solid oline in front of Clemens now...if he can't produce with that...then i'll grab a pitchfork and run him out of NY too....but until then, he deserves another look.

Eh, no. First off, we have no idea how Rex Ryan will coach. Clemens will NOT be fine because he stinks. We have nobody to play QB on this team, they will be learning an entirely new defensive system, and Ryan IS a rookie head coach. It just doesn't add up to a good season.

I'll be happy if I see some good play, and I see the team develop over the season. I don't expect much more than that, though.

Disagree, I feel this season will be decent.

We aren't really looking at playoffs here, but, a respectable 8-8 is good enough.

How can you judge Clemens when he hasn't played with a good O-Line?
