For me there are 2 and I think they reflect the initial excitement and final dread. First off, the TD he threw to Cotchery in the first MIami game, when we all said "That's what we needed, Chad couldn't do that." Secondly, the Seattle game when we was running/side-stepping to the right and tried the chuck it across the field to the right into double coverage without planting his feet, and we all know the result.
The Pass to Coles on 4th down in the Seattle game. It was the first decent pass he threw all game and of course Coles droped it and ended our season. It was the signature play for why our season melted down. Our two veteran playmakers simply couldn't make plays when it mattered.
The 4th and 1 pass to cotchery in the arizona game, and the 3rd and 15 play in new england. THANK YOU BRETT, IT WAS A FUN RIDE, AND MANGINI GO TO HELL!!!!!!!!!
For me it was the Int he threw to Hall in the Oakland game. It looked like a punt and there was no Jet near the ball.
That TD he threw to Coles in the back of the end zone of the Titans game...that was nuts and at that point had every Jets fan dreaming about Tampa...
Unfortunately, that less than inspiring pep talk before the final Miami game. Something along the lines of "Guys, If we win, we win, If we don't we don't." I think that summed up his career with the Jets.
He made so many awesome plays this year it's hard to say - but I'm going with the game-winning overtime drive to kill the Pats at NE! Classic Favre. The dude can straight up play.
The 3rd and 15 pass to Keller, When he made that we all thought wow Favre=Superbowl, little did we know. But overall a great player im not upset with Favre for last season more so with mangini
You know i think the celebrations after the Titans game, seeing him jump around with the rest of the team.
That was the pass that summed up what I wanted Favre to bring to the Jets. He froze 3 defensive backs on that play. I wish he could have kept that up.
The look on his face late in the year when he realized he was a Jet and the curse applied to him too.....
