Favre would have been dead on the Steelers this year that's how bad their OL was most of the year.

Well thank you for asking ToddIsGod.

Let's see Big Ben would throw for over 5000 yds and break Tom Brady's single season record with 60 TDs zero INTs. The team goes undefeated and destroys the Cardinals in the Superbowl 62-0. In addition to being voted first team All-Pro, every other play would as well. Brett Favre would on IR by week 3. The commissioner would declare the NFL null and void and declare the Jets champions of all time.

    That's exactly what would happen.

You do realise that in an infinite universe, that this exact scenario is actually being played out somewhere right now!

    Because we didn't?

Jolley and a second for our first. The trade still sucks, but its not nearly as bad as most fans like to make it out to be.

We may have been playing Sunday and Pitt would have struggled to make the playoffs.

we also got the place kicker mike nugent

after the last playoff game when we missed the winning fg ---we all knew nugent was going to be drafted----jolly was basically a throw in and he had a pretty good career previously

Right. It's WORSE than fans make it out to be. Once of the most god-awful trades the Jets have made. EVER.

Oh man. It is right up there with Bryan Thomas. I was looking back at that 2005 draft and damn did we mess up big time not picking Heath Miller. What a stupid trade. 2005 was a wasted year as far as draft is concerned.

I wonder what would have happened had the Jets signed Larry Fitzgerald, Andre Johnson, Shawne Merriman, etc........

If Ben Roethlisberger played for the Jets, he would have died in a motorcycle accident in 2006.

How is moving down 20 spots in the draft worse then giving up a first?

It was a god awful trade, but we got Jolley for the cost of 20 spots, not for a first round pick as several make it out to be.
