Love to here some opinions on this. If brett favre were on the steelers this year with a full year to prepare and learn the system and Big Ben had put on the green and white and had the little prep time Brett Favre had what type of outcome do you feel would have resulted. Personally I am quite sure that Favre gets Pittsburgh to playoffs perhaps Super Bowl Big Ben on jets- do we make the playoffs? Go deep in Playoffs? Not sure of any of this. Lets here what you think

Favre wulda won the superbowl with that steelers team. Big Ben does well there because of the steelers D. The steelers D had shut down larry fitz until the end and they had a 100 yard int for a td. That helped the steelers O out alot and they gave big ben good field postion(majority of the game atleast). If big ben was with the jets we would probably be in the same postion...9-7 missing playoffs. we didnt have a d coord like the steelers or a head coach like the steelers.
Not with a torn bicep he wouldn't. If Tomlin had the balls and common sense to bench an injured player who's tanking that badly, then Leftwich would have won the SB.
Todd I will tell you 2 things 1 there is so much hate for Favre on this site that they wont give you the answer they will make fun of the thread cause they do not want to admit the truth. 2 Favre would have won the Super Bowl cause the Steelers have the best team & the Steelers got there more on D & the run game than on the arm of Big Ben. Big Ben on the Jets with 2 weeks of training camp on a new team with a new O would not have made the playoffs & would have been home just like Favre is right now this is a FACT.
Favre's streak would have come to an end with that O-line. Big Ben would have led the Jets to an 8-8 record.
What if Woody Johnson played QB for the Jets and Dan Rooney played QB for the Steelers? Do we make the playoffs? Do the Steelers make the playoffs?
Pittsburgh would not make it to the SB. Favre can't scramble like Big Ben and that Offensive Line has been questionable this season. If Roethlisberger were on the Jets then we would have made it to the playoffs. Alot of those intercerptions would not have happened. Ben would have been able to keep more plays alive, and when he actually ran for yards he would get more than 2.
