Did you watch the replay? The ball was already out of his possession when he started his forward motion.
The only big mistake he made was missing Harrison in the endzone. The fact that he went 100 yards for a score makes it look that much worse though.
Holmes is the MVP for sure. Fitz had a great game, but you can't make the game winning catch and NOT win it.

Out of his possession? He still had control. The ball was clearly in his hand, up against his forearm.
Actually I did (DVR) which you should do. He had Possession of the ball as his arm was going forward AFTER it was hit. Bitter? I actually defended the refs in the 1st half for doin a great job.

No it didn't. The Worst Defense in SuperBowl History lost the game for Kurt. Kurt should kick everyone of his secondary's azzes for playing like chumps. :steelers:
Holmes had a great game and an amazing catch, but the two biggest plays by him were mostly due to terrible plays by the Arizona secondary. Fitzgerald was facing a secondary that did a very good job, but he still came up with huge plays. Too bad MVPs never go to losing players anymore after Howley won his.
Kurt Warner is a fantastic QB, much better then Ben Rothlisberger. He outplayed him so much in this game, but the defense for the Card just gave up at the end.
How in the hell do they not at least review that play at the end? I was 90% sure he still had it moving forward. Great game anyway, although that def. puts a stain on it, imo.
