yep. Plus it's not like Cassell sucked in replacing him.

Hmm..seems like a new faction is forming here at TGG. The "Traitor Packer fans"

The best part is when they try to remind Jets fans of the Jets past history. As if we ever let things go.

Yes and the Steelers are a great team, God Forbid there are other great teams in the league, even in the AFC! Let's just play our own schedule, try to beat our opponents, and worry about us, fuck Brady, fuck the Pats, we don't play 16 games against them, we have 14 games to worry about against other teams and last I checked 14 is a much bigger number than 2.

I noticed that this dude just lives for just making fun of everyone's posts. He does it to mine and I've seen him do it to almost everyone else. A few people on here (not most, but a few) think that since their post count exceeds 800,000 it's their job to just criticize everyone else's posts with an air of sarcasm and arrogance.

And just to be clear puddnhead, I'm not talking about you, I'm just agreeing with you.

Whether you think you are right or wrong, you are right.

Thus, if you keep prophesying that next year will be tough because of all the potential problems you see ahead, it will become hard - that's called self-fulfilling prophesy.

Winners have one thing in common - that is, they use this self-fulfilling prophesy to their advantage - namely, they do expect trouble down the road, but the troubles aside, they have no doubt that they will overcome the obstacle, and come away as winners.

I just hope Rex realizes this too - and instill the winning attitude (along with the fiery temper) to this team.

This board doesn't keep post counts. Either bring something to the table or don't. That "Dude" knows his football and brings something to the table and engages others that do the same. Did it ever occur to you that your posts might suck and he's trying to improve your game?

I just thought this may be a pretty big concern for next season, I mean they did nearly go unbeaten until the last Superbowl.

We only have to wait until a year after BF retires before they go back to Alaska.

The Patriots' dynasty is over, they will never be the same team they were in '07. With or without Brady they are old and getting older.

Whew! I'm glad you added that. I misinterpreted and was just starting to rack my brain "when did I respond to anything Heavy Metal Thunder wrote?" :drunk:

To respond to the other reply your comment got, no one (at least not me) has questioned his knowledge of football. I believe I've actually complimented it at times. The problems & comments are about the way he attacks others, sometimes his reason is nothing more than they have not been registered or a fan of the Jets as long as he has, and he sometimes starts rejecting what they say for reasons that football knowledge has NOTHING to do with.

If he could get over himself for a minute, he might realize that "snarky" is actually the perfect word to describe his first reply to this thread. "Rudely sarcastic or disrespectful; snide." Please don't be ridiculous and say that that comment shows any of this vaunted "football knowledge" that all must bow in worship to.

Indubitably. Which is an equally cheezy word.

There should be a rule here against carrying personal battles from the BS boards onto these threads. It is completely immature, serves no purpose and of course clutters up these threads.
