    PSL Packets out already?

Just heard some guy on the fan say he got his packet.....

He said he is a Season Ticket Holder for 32 Years and can pick anywhere he wants??? He currently sits in sec 332.

I thought current seat location mattered as well as seniority.

He said he can pick anything and pay off in 5 years for 6% or 15 years at 8%.

Good. I hope he moves down and saves some upper deck seats for those of us season ticket holders who will not be paying PSLs!

those rates are too high - the jets have to have a deal in place with a financing player....

wonder if that player isn't J/J themselves instead of your usual lender......

there is NO reason those rates should be higher than a 30 yr mortgage for a friggin house.

    my plan would be......
    4% for the 5 yr
    4.5% for the 10 yr
    5% for the 15 yr

    at least 20% down.

was thinking the same thing. maybe it's better to take out a home equity loan than going thru jet's loan scheme.

Home loans are secured by the property. That's why they are lower. Less risk. Those rates do not seem unreasonable based on a regular unsecured loan from a bank.

just recieved an email from the jets

We are pleased to tell you that you will be receiving your New Jets Stadium Playbook the week of January 26. The Playbook is your seat selection guide for the new stadium, the biggest upgrade in NFL history. We want you to be there opening day in September 2010 when finally, we're the home team.

The entire seat selection process is based on seniority, so that season ticket holders who have been with us the longest will have top priority to select their seats. Along with your Playbook, you will receive a Seat Selection Preference Form so you can tell us your top choices.

The move to the new stadium will occur in two phases, starting with the club seats now and expanding to the non-club seats later this year. In this first phase, every season ticket holder - in order of seniority - will be offered an opportunity to purchase tickets in one of four premium clubs featuring the best amenities in the NFL. Imagine coming to the stadium on gameday knowing that you and your guests will get the full VIP treatment from the moment you arrive. You'll enjoy the best parking, incredible sightlines, and outstanding cuisine. Now imagine that at halftime you leave your seat to visit your own exclusive lounge with oversized chairs and flat-screen TVsā€¦ and you will still have a view of the action on the field. It's the kind of experience that many sports fans dream of.

In the second phase, to be launched later this year, all non-club seats will be offered in order of season ticket holder seniority. More information about all seating options including the clubs, the amenities in the New Stadium, flexible payment options and the entire seat selection process will be detailed in your Playbook. Once you receive your Playbook, if you have any questions or concerns, your own dedicated Stadium Specialist will be available seven days a week to help you choose a seat in the New Jets Stadium.

We know you are as excited as we are to make the move to our own stadium. For more information, please visit www.newjetsstadium.com.

Thank you for your loyal support,

    The New York Jets

    what douchebags.

actually when i went to games i wanted to watch a good product and not spend 2 hours waiting to get out of the parking lot when the game was over and to actually have a little bit of money left in my bank account at the end. but hey wtf do i know.

thats why i dont go to games anymore. and never will again.

typically i would want to go see a new stadium to see what it is all about, this one i dont think i will go to. i dont care about all the bullshit and fancy this and that. fact is the pos will probably be outdated in 5 years and falling apart in 10, then they will come and say they need another new stadium in order to be able to stay in new york.

    like i said douchebags.

I got that email too. I think the part after "...you will be receiving your New Jets Stadium Playbook the week of _________" is different for everyone. I got "the week of February 9th." Did anyone got a earlier date?

Imagine, being broke and not being able to eat the other 359 days in a year because your season tickets and psl's cost your entire yearly wage.
