Just watched Ryan Press conference on NYJETS.com and must say he knows all the right things to say. I hope he brings just half of what he said to this team. Can't wait for August to roll around to see what this guy can do.
I loved when he was talking about turning up the heat on the QB and being much, much more physical. He said he wants to be the most physical team in the NFL. Best Ryan quote though: "If you take a swipe at us, we'll take two swipes at you!"
i have to correct you only cause i liked the quote so much. he was talking about fighting as a team winning and losing just playing as a team, "If you take a swipe at one of our guys, we'll take a swipe at two of your guys" gotta say i was amped up "my message for the rest of the league, the jets are comin. and i think thats more than you can handle." finally a coach with balls and swagger. if im a player on the jets id be happy this guy seems to be an approachable coach who understands the game as a coach and from a players prespective cause of his fire and attitude.
If Ryan does what he says he is going to do it will be a great time to be a Jets fan. The guy seems to be a straight shooter no BS about him at all. I cannot wait to see this team on the field. Rex could kill the SOJ ghost and take this team to new levels never seen before. Good Luck Rex we are behind you 100%. When he was talking about coming after teams and giving them all they can handle and not being a bend but don't break team got me really excited. His mentality totally kicks ass! Finally it looks like this CS will have some emotions on the sidelines and in practice.
