With a new head coach and the awfulness of our secondary last year, I'd really really love to see Donnie Henderson come back as our secondary coach. He left the Jaguars and is currently a free agent in the coaching world. Obviously Ryan will hire who he wants, but there is a connection there as they both were on the Ravens staff in their super bowl year.

He was mad he didn't get the HC job, and he didn't want to accept a demotion from Mangini. I don't know the man personally but I think if he has to be a secondary coach somewhere, why not go where he has talent and a familiarity with the HC? He was on Del Rio's staff because of previously working with him in Balt, why not Ryan?

I would welcome him back in a heartbeat. He has a burning fire to get the most of the players and in your face attitude

Well, Mike Pettine is our new DC, and Rex called him a "star," so I think he'll be good.

Donnie should be the secondary coach here. I'd love that.

That was the injury plagued season of 2005... no one was going to do well that year except J. Abe to get a better contract.

we'll alot of his criticism is while he was the DC, he would be a good DB coach or in some capacity on the defensive side right?

donnie is another "non-pussy" football coach. The Jets normally don't hire these type of coaches. But now our HC is a non-pussy football coach.

    odd how that worked out.

Maybe he's talking about the 12th ranked Jets defense in 2005.

Confirmed today that Jerome Henderson has left the Jets to join fatso in Cleveland. I find it really funny the only guy that Mangini hasn't hired on his staff yet is Sutton. Hopefully they take that assmunch off our hands and make him linebacker coach so Kamerion Wimbley can TRULY reach bust status.

With Jerome Henderson gone I really could see Donnie if he coaches this year coming here or Carolina.
