The one place I think Vilma could really help us in the 3-4 is pass coverage, none of our LBs can cover even the slowest RBs/TEs in the league, and just the fact that Vilma is flat out faster than Pace/Harris/Bowens/Barton/Thomas will make him an asset. I'm not saying he would be worth the price to bring him back, I realize he is more valuable in a 43, but some people here make it sound like he would be useless on our team, I think it is obvious that he could definitely help us right now...
Jake how many saints games have u seen this season? Not many I'm guessing, vilma has been solid and put up better #'s than any of our current lb's. I doubt vilma would come back and I do not really care either way. Just don't post bs that isn't true, because you sir, are wrong.
very accurate analysis of Ngata/Lewis. Vilma could come back to the Jets, except we do not have the money for him. Cut Brayan Thomas. And bring back Vilma.
Bring back Vilma for what? So he can look pathetic in a 3-4 again? I don't think he or we want to see that.
hes a great athlete...great on pass coverage...in my opinion he could have lost a few pounds and been put at safety alongside kerry rhodes cuz erik smith is trash....but i think next year abe elam could have a pro bowl season
No doubt. Random idiot proves Mick right and does not even realize what he did. The Morons run amuck in the offseason.
Puck, you made me laugh so hard to the point where a family member asked what was so funny. Harpua, its true... I try to make sure that frustration doesn't take over and I see it from a comical perspective.... kind of like watching our beloved franchise.
Awesome........... For now on when someone proves a point and they don't know it........ my reply..... E=MCsquared BTW, At least you are not at work with someone asking ..."what the hell is so funny?" When it looks like you are laughing at voices or something....lol
Vilma was arrested last night in Miami for reckless driving and resting arrest. Not that it matters, every player in the NFL has been arrested once. http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/jets/2009/01/17/2009-01-17_report_former_jets_lb_jonathan_vilma_arr.html
