it's a shame the way his career ended, i always thought he'd develop into a solid player, if not a starter than at least an heir to Ray Mickens as a solid nickelback.
In the end, he is sitting in his luxury house, or at some great resort in the Carribean, having a good time counting his loot.
Maybe a little upset but not pissed at all since his new team butchered the Cards when we played them so i think he's still feelin good from that.
Regardless of Zona's recent success...they are still a mickey mouse organization through and through. Many ex players and coaches have come out and said the ridiculous things that ownership group has established. One little playoff run in what is turning into an odd, fluke NFL season isn't gonna change Pace's feelings. And i LIKE the Cards.
That's right - I totally forgot Pace was on the Jets this year. Yeah - that has to suck - they obviously missed him though.
I hear ya. BUT, if they somehow beat the Eagles next week and make the superbowl, I don't see how we are any less of a mickey mouse organization...maybe a goofy or a donald organization?
They have changed things a bit there the past few years. Michael Bidwill was promoted from Vice President/General Counsel to President. Michael actually cares about winning unlike old man Bill. They now have a state-of-the-art stadium. They also have a competent coaching staff for a change. They are getting better, but still have a long way to go to get out of the league's basement, if you will.
You remind me of when Plaxicco left Pittsburgh for NY and the steelers won the SB....and one year later he ended up a "hero"..............now he's your neighborhood perp.
I'm pissed .... I once had Cardinal season tickets. We owned them the year the Jets lone win was at Arizona. I got rid of them in 2001. I then had an opportunity to get them again and have great seats when they moved into the new stadium. I chose to go with the Chargers instead. I never in a million years would have thought the Cardinals would host any playoff game let alone a Conference Championship before the Chargers. On the bright side there is a 75% chance I'll be going. On the down side I won't be making any money selling my tickets. I've always liked the Eagles but living 5 hours from Phoenix and having lived there and held Cardinal season tickets I'll be cheering hard for Kurt Warner and the Cards. BTW how depressing is this? Going back to 1998/99 Arizona Cardinal playoff wins 3 New York Jet Playoff wins 3 Granted we did have a bye but they are hosting a conference championship while we had to go on the road for ours.
