Very well said, but most on here show what little football knowledge they really have by blaming Favre for thr WHOLE debacle. He has admitted part of it was his fault, yet I have not heard any other Jets player admit this. The defense should really shoulder a large part of the blame, yet where are any D players. No doubt hiding and hoping Brett takes all the heat.

Looks like the cut and sign with NFC-N is possible, but figure the Jets will at least try to get some value for him, which means no NFC-N. You don't just cut a starting QB, right?

    Well said,

Brett has the balls to call himself out when he makes a mistake. Too bad that attitude was not contagious !!

"...I guess its a piece of Jets history never to be forgotten."

Just like the rest of the Jets' history: forgettable performances which are never forgotten.

You do if you really want to get out from $13 Mil in salary cap restriction.

Favre isn't going to play the trade game with the Jets like he did with GB. He'll just retire if he can't play for the team he wants to play with.

Farve is very bad for this team and everyone does not want him back even me!!

we must acquire new young quarterback who is smart like Chad but have strong arm like Farve.

    Why?

Why would the Jets pay $13 million for an average to below average 40 year old quarterback? What games were you people watching that anyone would want Favre back? Man you could probably trade for another team's backup and get a better player than a 40 year old Favre.

Because he's a draw that's why. There are people stupid enough to buy the tickets and merchandise just because Brett Farve is on the team. Even a bad Brett Farve puts the Jets on the front pages of local news. Woody is caught between the perverbial rock and hard place when it comes to Ol' CannonArm..

Woody is caught nowhere. He created the problem with his greed and stupidity. All he has to do to solve the problem is cut Favre. I could care less where he plays next year, as long as it's not for the New York Jets.
