Congrats to all. Washington 1st team. Faneca and Jenkins second team. Unlike the pro bowl this actually has some meaning. http://www.newyorkjets.com/news/articles/show/2813-washington-named-all-pro-first-teamer-by-ap there..must have fat finger syndrome today...can't fix the title though.
Hah.. Nice spelling. Here's my question and it's something I've never known. What is the difference between being all-pro and getting named to the pro bowl?
Jernkins....haha. Congrats to them...they'll have plenty of time to enjoy before next season starts...
All Pro is voted on by writers as the "best" in the entire NFL not just conference. It's like the All America team. There's a first team and a second team. example: Only 1 QBs is selected as a 1st Team All Pro QB for 2009.
All pro is selected by the AP and the pro bowl is selected equally by the coaches, the players themselves and the fans, making it more of a popularity contest.
I really want to see the first team play the second team. That would be SO much better than the pro-bowl, though I've gotta disagree with the Welker love.
Theres at least a half dozen guards I'd take over Faneca. Butler Mankins Evans Joseph Sears Amano And that was easy...dude's OK...but he's getting this on rep as he probably has before. And it's not really a knock against him. He is what he is, and it's a good player and an excellent leader...think Kevin Mawae but at G.
Well, you can't give Revis the nod over Finnegan, Asomugha, or Winfield. That's just not being fair. You can argue Revis against Woodson, I suppose.
Winfield too. Good CB, but not Revis good. Woulda been nice if Herm had closed the deal on him. John Lynch too...
