Rhodes would have been five yards out of the back of the end zone on that one, guarding against the big play.

Being coached by Rex Ryan instead of Bob Sutton helps too.

Rhodes will never become an Ed Reed type of player.

Hell yeah! Rex Ryan put reeds into those situations and sutton doesn't do jack for rhodes. Rhodes will shine under the new DC.

Ed Reed is a once in a century type Player. Rhode's is ok but he's no Eddie Reed.

Hopefully Rex and Rhodes get to test that theory

Really, what if we get a DC who can come up with a good scheme and get pressure on the QB? ask the ravens how well it works... other than Reeds talent the pressure that the ravens put on the opposing QB makes his job a little easier.

Rhodes is a very good player. But he is not Ed Reed. But that doesnt mean that Rhodes cant have a great career.

And to think we took Bryan Thomas when we already had Ellis and Abraham as DE's when he had a dire need for safety...

It's funny, prior to this yr Rhodes was compared to Polaumalu and Reed and now he isn't.

When Rhodes has the ball in his hands he's just as dangerous as Reed.
Rhodes is more dangerous around the line of scrimmage, blitzing and otherwise, then Reed.
So far Rhodes hasn't been as good at getting INTs, that might be the scheme.

LOL the best part is we could have drafted him but we took Bryan Thomas at a time when we had Abe and Ellis already. Gotta love it!

Reed and Polaumalu have taken their game to another level. Rhodes has regressed considerably.

Funny his numbers in 2 of the last 3 years was better. He had a bad year on a bad defense. They had great years with great defenses.

Reed and Polamalu are consistantly in the top of the league. That's why they are considered the elite of the position.

Rhodes, not as consistant, and thus, not elite.
